First of all there is a delay before the connect when you wake up your computer. Then there are always the odd connectivity problem. They can also, in the worst cases, cause lag, interference and performance issues. Let's face bluetooth is pants really when other solutions are available. Anyway, the solution on the keyboard front is to either go for wired keyboards (and mice) but the wire is a pain, of course. There is, however, another solution - the 2.4G USB Dongle equipped keyboard. This means all the advantages of being wireless but a much better connectivity and no lag/performance issues compared to Bluetooth. I already use a Logitech mouse with this feature and it is so much better than the previous Magic Mouse from Apple which used Bluetooth - I had no end of issues with that expensive piece of Jony Ive inspired glass and plastic. For Mac specific keyboards, there are not many with this USB 2.4G dongle feature, so one has to start searching for Windows keyboards, where some of the keys will be wrong and one of them will have a Windows symbol on it - how very un-Apple! This one though, has thoughtfully changed the Windows button to a Mac-style Command one. So whilst it still has a few keys in the wrong places for a Mac it is a lot more acceptable than all the other Windows keyboards and Windows users can, themselves, pretend they have a Mac. As Delboy says, "Everyone's a Winner". I also use an app (which I would recommend to every Mac user) call Better Touch Tool. Amongst other things this allows you to re-program keyboard shortcuts. 20 minutes work and this Windows keyboard is working 99.9% perfectly on my Mac - even the media keys work as I have programmed them to control Spotify and the Print Screen button is now programmed for screen capture - all good! So, what else: - Nice feel to the typing action - Not too rattly - Has a Caps Lock light - A good size (between a mini and full size keyboard) - Looks good in grey and black finish - Connection is instant and no drivers are needed (Mac) And the not so good points? Well, nothing really at this price (around £20). It is easily as good as the genuine Mac ones for build quality, in my view, and they cost 4-6 times the price and rely on the rubbishy old bluetooth protocol we are all told we must use for everything. No qualms. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Was an excellent upgrade, but then it went wrong *by T***Y on 30 December 2020* Update 20-1-2021. I've been using the keyboard for several weeks and am now having issues. The forward slash button does not work and I have started to have connectivity issues. Too many times now it does not register on screen what I have typed and it can take several attempts to work. I'm not now buying for all my staff!! I purchased this keyboard after my Microsoft wireless keyboard gave up on me. The JoyAccess keyboard is much lighter, much smaller (see photo) and the keys are far more responsive. The design means there are no collapsible raisers underneath which snap after a few months. I like it so much I am going to order new keyboards for all my staff.
