Can this be used for sitting up in bed?

Hi I bought this for my Daughter who broke her coxics when she fell down the stairs. She used it for both sitting in bed and her chair. Really helped her pain.

What maximum user weight does this item have?

This cushion is very hard , I didn’t find it comfortable so I don’t use it. I imagine it would take quite a lot to squash it flat. But if a large derrière sat on it there would be uncomfortable overhang.
