I usually don't use steam when I iron so I used a damp press cloth as suggested. So far so good, I have 8 t shirt graphics interfaced and will begin to sew them into a quilt once the fabric for in between arrives. This is a stiffer interfacing than I have used before but think it will be fine as I plan to use a light weight batting.
