quite frankly this is one of the few products i trust with the full geographical map of my body. face, neck, chest, random dry patch on elbow that appeared after i walked past a radiator too confidently. all of it. my skin has the structural integrity of a frail victorian aristocrat who’s just received troubling correspondence. a strong wind? redness. weather change? devastation. one overly fragranced body wash drifting through the air molecules near me? suddenly my skin barrier is writing its will by candlelight. and this stuff genuinely calms everything down. rich without feeling greasy, deeply moisturising without that weird suffocating film some heavy creams leave behind where you feel like a basted chicken rotating gently under kitchen lights. it just sinks in properly and leaves my skin soft, comfortable and noticeably less dramatic. the niacinamide and shea butter combo in this is genuinely excellent for barrier support. whenever my skin starts acting spiritually exhausted, this is what i reach for first. i’ve used much more expensive creams that performed worse while charging me like they were funding a private moon launch. which is the thing that continues to mildly astonish me. for the quality, this is so affordable. especially because the bottle lasts forever. you need less than you think unless you’re doing what i do and applying it with the emotional urgency of a medieval healer trying to save the kingdom. also crucially: no overpowering fragrance. thank god. i do not want my moisturiser competing with my perfume, my laundry detergent and my nervous system simultaneously. sometimes i just want hydration without being hunted for sport by synthetic peony molecules. my bathroom shelf at this point genuinely looks like a tiny apothecary dedicated exclusively to “preventing my skin from experiencing adversity” and this has earned permanent residency there. if they discontinue it i’ll probably be outside la roche-posay headquarters in a long black veil holding a single unmoisturised hand to the sky. if you’re new to my reviews, chai is currency. a chai in nyc is roughly $10 because apparently milk, tea and cardamom now require venture capital. this bottle is $21.99, so we’re looking at a little over two chais. by chaiconomy standards, that is an extremely easy yes. two chais gets me 400ml of moisturiser that i use on both my face and body, lasts an absurdly long time, and has repeatedly outperformed creams costing several times as much. financially, the moisturiser has behaved with considerably more dignity than i have. ✨tl;dr✨ sensitive dry skin people… this is the one. rich, soothing, barrier-loving, lasts ages and somehow costs less than half the luxury creams that give you 90ml of disappointment and a tiny spatula.

I at my age of over 70 have lots of dry patches on my skin, my dermatology doctor says those are going to be age spots! No way! In doing research, I found this product to be very hydrating, using it every evening before bed, has literally make my dry spots hardly noticeable and they are not changing to a dark color! Besides that, it gets rid of crepey skin, feels good, smells good! Good! Most of all it works great! You don't need much and it goes a long ways. I've been using for 6 weeks now and I will not use anything else! I highly recommend!

This moisturizer is an absolute game-changer. It absorbs smoothly without feeling overly greasy, and it provides long-lasting hydration that keeps dryness at bay all day. It feels very soothing and has made a noticeable difference in my skin's texture. Highly recommend!

This lotion goes on REALLY smoothly and is pretty thick. It's a taaad hard to spread so you can't just take a coin-sized drop in your hand and spread it around your face. It's better to place a few dots all over your face and spread those. This lotion kind of creates a film on your face which locks hydration in and gives you a shine as well. This is why it's so good for dry skin. I have combination skin and it still works for me too (although I put less on my forehead/chin, a little goes a long way!!). But for oily skin? I imagine this would be TERRIBLE, because this doesn't really ever truly soak in. If I take my finger and press my face after 1-2hrs, I see quite a bit of oiliness come off on my finger. Again, great for hydration, amazing for dry skin and great price most of all! I used to use Neutragena Hydro Gel / Water Gel but it's just so expensive and this probably does more for me honestly.

Pros: Deeply hydrating, fixes dry skin fast, fragrance-free Cons: Very thick consistency, takes time to rub in My skin has been loving this product! It's super high quality and works wonders for severe dryness and sensitive skin. The only thing to keep in mind is how thick and heavy the formula is. A little bit goes a very long way, so you only need a small drop to cover a large area. If you like light lotions, this might feel too heavy for you. But if you need intense, heavy-duty barrier repair, it’s worth it!

I was honestly hesitant to buy this because I've tried so many moisturizers that either felt greasy or didn't really do much. I'm so glad I gave this one a chance. It soaks in really well, goes on really smooth, doesn't leave that sticky or greasy feeling, and my skin actually stays soft all day. It feels rich without being heavy, which is exactly what I was looking for. If you've been on the fence like I was, I'd definitely recommend giving it a try. It's one of those products I'm really happy I ended up buying. There is also NO strong smell so if you have sensitive skin or don't want to smell like bath and body works, this is a great option!

This moisturizing cream is very good I could not use cream on my right leg for a couple weeks it was so dry scaling and cracking so I trued this after two uses it was so soft and almost back to normal now both of my legs are so moisturized and look great I’m will always use this

I use this every morning and night while on Accutane, and it has helped a lot with the dryness. It’s thick and moisturizing but doesn’t feel overly greasy on my skin. I also like that I can use it on both my face and body. My skin feels much more comfortable after applying it, especially at night. This has become one of my favorite moisturizers during Accutane
