They look very nice, very comfortable as well. This is my 2nd pair, so no buyers regret. I've spent 3 or 4 times as much on a pair of trainers and only got 6 months use out of them. I've got wide feet and the little toe breaks out after a while. But I usually wear a UK12 and the nearest they had to my size is a 11.5. Despite that they are still very comfortable and good value for money. Review: Excellent - Verry comfortable, will buy again. ## Features - New Balance sneaker ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B081MDVK5W | | Best Sellers Rank | 805,964 in Fashion ( See Top 100 in Fashion ) 6,329 in Men's Fashion Trainers | | Brand | New Balance | | Care instructions | Machine Wash | | Closure Type | Lace-Up | | Colour | Black Va1 | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 21,041 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00194389647922 | | Heel Type | Flat | | Item Type Name | Sneaker | | Item Weight | 0.26 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | New Balance | | Manufacturer part number | GM500VA1 | | Material composition | Synthetic | | Model Name | 500v1 | | Model number | GM500VA1 | | Number of Items | 500 | | Occasion Lifestyle | Casual | | Occasion Type | Work. | | Outer Material Type | Synthetic | | Outer material | Synthetic | | Pattern | Solid colours | | Season | Autumn/Winter | | Shoe Height Map | Low Top | | Shoe Type | Athletic Shoe | | Sole Material | Synthetic | | Sole material | Synthetic | | Special Feature | Lightweight | | Specific Uses For Product | Sports | | Style Name | Sneaker | | Theme | Sport | | Toe Style | Round Toe | | UPC | 194389647922 | | Unit Count | 1 Pair | | Water Resistance Level | Not Water Resistant | | lining-description | cold lining | | material-type | Leather | ## Images ![New Balance Men's 500v1 Sneaker - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61EJJdam+hL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cheap and cheerful. *by A***M on 10 July 2021* Sizes are accurate. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent *by A***N on 18 August 2025* Verry comfortable, will buy again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Classic Style with Comfortable Stride *by M***S on 20 May 2023* New Balance Men's 500v1 Core Trainers perfectly blend the cool old school look with decent comfort, making them an excellent choice for those seeking a stylish and comfortable option. But be aware that these are not a performance athletic shoe. The standout feature of these trainers is undoubtedly their cool old school look. With their retro-inspired design and iconic New Balance branding, they effortlessly capture the essence of classic trainer fashion. Whether you're strolling down the city streets or attending casual gatherings, these trainers will hold their own with their timeless appeal. Comfort is another positive attribute of the New Balance 500v1 Core Trainers. The cushioned midsole provides a decent level of support and responsiveness, ensuring a comfortable stride throughout the day. Whether you're running errands or exploring the urban landscape, these trainers offer the necessary cushioning to keep your feet feeling comfortable and supported. It's important to note that while these trainers provide good comfort, they are more suited for casual wear and everyday activities rather than intense athletic training. They are primarily a fashion product designed to enhance your style while offering a comfortable walking experience. If you require specialized support or cushioning for high-impact sports or intense workouts, it would be more appropriate to opt for performance-focused athletic shoes. Durability is another notable strength of these trainers. Built with high-quality materials, these trainers are designed to withstand the rigors of daily wear and tear, ensuring they last for a long time. In terms of versatility, the New Balance 500v1 Core Trainers are highly commendable. Their classic design and neutral colorways make them easy to pair with various outfits. Whether you're going for a casual jeans-and-t-shirt ensemble or aiming for a more athleisure-inspired look, these trainers seamlessly integrate into your wardrobe, allowing for effortless styling possibilities. In summary, New Balance Men's 500v1 Core Trainers strike the perfect balance between classic style and comfortable wear. With their cool old school look, reliable durability, and versatile fashion appeal, these trainers are a fantastic choice for individuals seeking a fashionable and comfortable footwear option. While they may not offer the same technical performance as specialised athletic shoes, they excel in delivering a stylish statement and ensuring a comfortable stride throughout your daily adventures. So lace up these retro-inspired kicks, embrace the timeless fashion, and enjoy the comfort they provide with every step you take. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.fr/products/210554789-new-balance-mens-500v1-sneaker](https://www.desertcart.fr/products/210554789-new-balance-mens-500v1-sneaker) --- *Product available on Desertcart France* *Store origin: FR* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
