Review: A great fly zapper - Debated which to get smaller or larger pro- apparently both give the same zap, and just down to battery life. Bought the revenge as using in the house and so lighter and easier to swing without hitting something. I think if it did hit something i am not sure it would stay in one piece. Have used on many flies and yes at time it does need a couple of zaps but one zap stuns giving time to squash to dispose of them. Handle soft grip and comfortable to use and one button to press and hold down which lights up a led red indicator letting you know it is ‘live’ - button releases when not pressed so safer to use. Excellent piece of kit - it is not a mesh but parallel wires - Uses AA batteries which came with the product. Review: Excellent - Works and I but swiping at them not that successful. If you let them land and sweep toward them they fly into them. Cannot complain as works ## Features - The Executioner Revenge is our smallest bug zapper in the range. There is a voltage of 770vDC across the grid (I put my multimeter across the bars). The current won't be more than a few mA, so it won't kill you, just teach you not to be so stupid. **Q: What size batteries are they please? Hoping they are AA or AAA** A: It takes two AA's, it is the most effective killer of unpleasant flies, moths in your house, who ever designed it should get the OBE. **Q: Is this thing supposed to give electric shocks even without pressing the on button. I had a small shock as I opened the packaging. Is mine faulty?** A: Perhaps the on button got pressed during the packaging process. Once it is pressed the gadget holds its charge until it touches on something (in theory a fly, but in reality, anything including your own hand!). It holds this charge for ages - I have discovered this through bitter experience. Hope this helps. **Q: Will these batteries fit? they say 'baby' size c... http://www.amazon.co.uk/uniross-ni-mh-2600-rechargeable-batteries/dp/b00008gsy8** A: What? There are 2 types of Executioner'sOne runs on 2 x AA batteries and the other is the Pro that runs on type 2 x C batteries, these are the smaller of the larger type D round batteries, they can be found in most good supermarkets or even online thru Amazon, i use Duracell Plus size C batteries. The Executioner standard model has a slightly smaller head than the Pro and does the same job but personally i prefer the Bigger headed Pro, i have both and bring the standard one on holidays as it is easier to find 2 x AA batteries in foreign countries like Brazil or Spain ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A great fly zapper *by A***8 on 15 August 2026* Debated which to get smaller or larger pro- apparently both give the same zap, and just down to battery life.
