All Flying Dutchman blades are flat end. **Q: I do a lot of intarsia work using a variety of 3/4 hard woods. (Oak. walnut, cherry. etc) Will these blades cut through 3/4 inch hardwoods?** A: The Ultra Reverse #5 would work but is not the best blade for intarsia work in 3/4" hardwoods. Larger sizes, such as #7 or #9, would work much better.
