This book has been a huge help in my exam prep so far, especially in tandem with the Electrical PE Review course taught by Zach. The practice problems are challenging and the solutions are extremely detailed and easy to follow. I really appreciate the clear explanations and diagrams, which have helped reinforce the concepts instead of just giving answers. It works both as a practice exam and a true study guide. Highly recommend for anyone serious about preparing for the PE.

I believe this book caught my eye from the Table of Contents. Meaning, it wasn't just the typical practice problem listed by subject. It listed correction updates, useful articles and cheat sheets. To me that means concepts to help me master the material and shows the author is relevant and in-touch with his craft. The book is a practice test with worked solutions and helpful tips to master the subject so you understand where the mistakes are and how to fix them. The subject is tuff enough by itself so it helps to have a leg up on any insights.

Great book for practice, Loved the course even more. Covers many topics and shows you what areas you need to work on.

Always great to have a physical copy of the book to study from! If you haven't already, consider checking out his online course to study live or on demand. One improvement I would offer is to include questions aligned with the latest NCEES sections (i.e. Renewables). However, most questions are still great for review!

Zach Stone is the best instructor I have learned from. I tried other instructors and the material didn’t click. Booklet is a practice exam with detailed technical expansion of the solution. Would definitely help with your PE prep!

Very in-depth practice exam! Good variety of questions to match the actual PE Exam specifications! The inclusion of qualitative questions is amazing. Zach is really good at making qualitative questions that really test your understanding. Also, in the back of the book, it breaks the questions down by topic which is very helpful in determining next steps and what areas you need to review. I also took the NCEES practice PE exam, and I would say these questions were a little bit more challenging which is good when you’re studying. I’d prefer a harder practice test to better prepare me for the real one. My one drawback is that this practice exam is currently for the exam specifications prior to October 2025, but per the author, a revision should be coming out soon!
