No. The unit memory will retain the limits, no need to reset them

Ia it possible to increase the weight limit?

In my opinion based on my unit, I would say you should not go over the stated weight unit.

Can you order a second up/ down control for the garage?

There is a control on the Space Lift unit. It also comes with the wiring and switches to install an additional wall mounted switch. I have no ideal if you can order additional controls. I would go to the Space Lift website with that question.
