Flex 2000 2-1/4" Button Maker Kit with Interchangeable Die Option / 2.25" Metal Badge Maker Hobby Kit

The machine is great... in theory. The 2.25" die that it comes with is great. Although it takes a little bit more force than expected to get the lever pushed down to make the buttons. Not a deal breaker considering the price (which is very good). My problem came when trying to change to the 1.5" die that i purchased as an add on. The dies never really seemed to "slide right in" as intended and once in, couldn't be removed without a screwdriver and my husband having to take a few pieces apart. At this point I'm afraid to even try to put them back in for fear i wont be able to get them out again. Let me be clear... the 1.5" die worked ok (a few buttons didn't press right the first time, but again, not a deal breaker) so that's why this gets 3 stars. Also, no matter how straight you try to put the pin back when you set it in the die, it always comes out crooked on the button. So basically, the button is right side up and the pin in the back is slanted to the side at a 45 degree angle. I tried turning it to see if it would end up straight, but that didn't really work. It does what it's supposed to do, but not super perfect so if that's what you're looking for, you might want to skip this.After reaching out to customer service, they said i could pack up the whole machine and return it. At my expense. To Canada. From the US. All I wanted was a replacement for the parts that weren't working. I was willing to just send those back. It would have been cheaper and would not have inconvenienced me. I'm disappointed in the customer service more than I am the product, but I opted for a cheaper option to a Tecre machine and now I guess I'm paying for it. Not sure what I'm going to do, but spending almost $100 to return something that was defective when I received it isn't something I plan on doing. Do your research before you purchase this machine because chances are if something is wrong with it, you might get stuck having to spend almost half what the thing is worth to return it.
