DC 36V 48V to 24V 10A 240W Converter Voltage Regulator Buck Reducer Power Converter with Fuse & Connectors, Waterproof Module Transformer for Golf Cart Club Car

I’m reviewing the 48V to 24V 10A stepdown converter. I installed this in my custom R/C charging case that consists of an enterprise level server power supply that outputs 30VDC and ~1,500W and a multi-chemistry charger that will output a max of 1,400W. The case has a total of three 24V cooling fans to keep the temperatures at bay. I needed to drop the PS’s voltage from 30V to 24V just to maximize the fans’ lifespans and this stepdown converter does the job just fine. I ran the charging rig hard to see what kind internal case and charger temps I’d see; the converter’s case stayed at the ambient room of 75°F even when the power supply was providing 30VDC and 28A. I can’t speak to the longevity, but so far I’m happy.

Installed on my 48v ICON Golf cart to run a 24v led strip that I got from Costco. Works great!

Have a solar charger whose dc regulator failed (output went unregulated at close to 40v instead of 24) so I installed this and salvaged my solar system at reasonable cost. Very pleased.

this is the third power module that has failed. and i just missed the return window twice. it worked several times for short intervals but if left on a few hours, then it is dead, no more voltage output.

I unexpectedly vaporized something in one of the 5 for $10 Buck Converters in the flip of a switch. Immediately searched Amazon for a HD 48V to 24V Buck Converter and this showed up. Put in the order, and thanks to Prime availability, received it the next day. Terminals were fitted and it was in place in a few minutes, the switch was flipped, and all lights were appropriately lit. I was in business. There's not much else to say, as it is a Buck Converter. At this point, I think that I have only hit it with at most 1 amp load continuously, but the start-up load for 3 stepper drivers and a control board must be fairly high!!! Unfortunately, this unit costs more the half the cost of the 12.5A 48V PSU that powers it!!!! Alas, that is, what it is. Would, grudgingly, buy it again, if needed.
