Stone Coat Countertops Epoxy Undercoat White (1 Quart) for Bar Tops & More

I highly recommend this product for sealing MDF, especially MDF from the local home stores. Does an incredible job and can be wet sanded for a smooth application. If you have painted with small rollers, applying this primer is easy and no trouble at all. When mixed prior to painting, it has just the right thickness that it is easy to apply a consistent coating with a roller. Coverage was more than I had thought I would get.

I used this for priming MDF board for countertops and it worked perfectly! It seals and drys quickly for a nice base for a flawless finish. Low oder, great value, and applied perfectly. Was able to epoxy and finish my project the next day! Video is the primer on the countertops, picture is the end result after using the Giani granite countertop paint kit 2.0 epoxy topcoat in white diamond to finish the countertops. Would 10/10 recommend.

She watches youtube vidieos on you guys all the time she even went to a school in Tx to learn how to do ountertops and bathrooms. we only use your products in out small shop when making things. althoug she hasent done much due to acar accident she cant wait to get back at it. This undercoat went on super smooth and gave me the perfect solid black base for my epoxy project. Great coverage, low odor, and it dried evenly. Made my final pour look flawless. Will buy again

Nice product applied on countertop hided almost 85% with 2 coat after sanding. 1 start less for not hiding 15%.

Great product

The epoxy topcoat paint works very well. It seals and protects the surface, leaving a uniform and long-lasting shine.

Although you can add dyes / pigment to your epoxy, there is always a chance that underlying blemishes will show through. The advantage of this preparation is that it very effectively prevents 'bleed through' of such marks. This was my primary reason for buying the product and it works really well. Adhesion of the epoxy is excellent and creates a good transition between the epoxy and whatever underlying material you are coating. That said, if you have a uniform color, unblemished surface, this may be overkill. Personally though it gives peace of mind on expensive installations.
