Bowling Alley Wax, Clear Paste, 16 oz. Can - Surface Protection Wax for Polishing & Cleaning

Been using this product for years in my woodshop for keeping machine surfaces clean of rust and slick. reduces the effort needed to feed stock on table saws, planers and jointers jointers. no build up like some of the newer sprays. I apply 3 coats with buffing by hand to get a long lasting smooth surface. example on my planer every 1000 bft I will give it a touch up and give a nice finish to the lumber reducing chatter. Smell no problem easy application dries quick price like everything today is crazy

Harder and harder to find high quality wax. I do a lot of woodworking and sometimes want just a wax finish, especially for some outdoor projects that need a certain look. Very little odor, covers the surface well and is easy to apply. Dries quickly to make 2nd/3rd coats easy. Really good value.

Great Product, works as advertised, all in all good value for the money.

This is my go-to lubricant for drawers, windows, doors, anything that needs to slide easily. It's still what was called Butcher's Wax even though the label has changed. I'm only giving it four stars because of the current price which is much higher than it used to be, even with inflation factored in. Otherwise still an excellent product.

Excellent on my table saw & band saw tops!

Cleans well, penetrates wood, dries and polishes to a nice satin finish. Smells strongly of menthol. I miss my SC Johnson paste wax, but this'll do.

Same formula as Butchers Bowling Alley Wax developed in the 1880's disappeared for a time -- now it's back. Excellent wax for wood and tools.

This is a great alternative to the old Johnsons paste wax. I use it on everything. Although the price is a little steep.
