We bought these to go with heating lights in our chicken coop. They work perfectly and are durable and are long enough to hang in different angles. Easy as plugging in and screwing in included hook. We used some additional hanging hardware because of our usage but that wouldn’t be necessary for many uses. I could see them being used in a lot of different ways for decorative purposes too.

I bought this because I needed a light over my desk in my office and my desk is small and most of the space on is already taken. Saw online where someone bought something similar to this and just hung it over their desk - Using a bulb that goes into the more flush mounted built in fixtures to focus the light down. Thought I'd try it and I love it. It is so simple and all the hardware is included. The bulb you choose (sold separately) will determine how focused of a beam you want & color. I generally use Daytime LED's in my house, but I use a warm focused beam LED over my desk and it make my windowless cubby feel less soul sucking.

I’ve always loved the look of paper lantern lights, but I never bought a light kit for mine because I thought it would be difficult to install. I couldn’t have been more wrong! This lighting kit arrived right on time and was so simple to install that I ordered two more and had them installed the very next day (thank you one-day delivery!). The cord is substantial and good quality, the on/off switch is very smooth and easy to operate, and each kit came with the screw-in hooks and plastic clips needed to install (2 of each). I do have three wishes for this kit: 1) White hardware would be good so it would be less noticeable against a white ceiling (I just opted not to use the black clips—the light kit isn’t heavy, so the hooks alone hold it up just fine). 2) Slightly longer cord would be helpful (I had to run an extension cord because of where I placed my light and ran the cord across the ceiling to a corner before running it down to an outlet—others may not have this issue). 3) Adhesive “cord keeper” clips would be nice to include to keep the cord tight along the wall (I used Command clips that I had). Even with those minor issues, it’s still a great buy that I would purchase again.
