These are awesome. i've already put them to heavy use for making my starter dough and other cooking endeavors. 2 have been washed and reused 14 times already. I think I got lucky with these after reading reviews of other bowls. the lids are great for my application, the no slip bottoms are a huge benefit when mixing. protip, as i've seen people complain about scratching and wear and tear: use a silicon spatula or peltex for mixing. it doesn't matter what metal bowl you buy, they will all scratch when you take metal to metal. I did take a spoon to one of these in a bit of laziness and minorly scratched one bowl. the material appears to be homogeneous and not a plating as I've read in reviews of other products. no rust or potting developing around the scratches. seriously... scary and discouraging reading product reviews about stuff you want to buy. These are legit. if something changes, i'll update this review.

I love these bowls. They were delivered at the time they were promised. The covers fit on the bowls great and they store in the cupboard well and take up little space. The Chef U company offered to hug a kitten if I took some time to review so I couldn't say no. But I think you should help me hug a few homeless dogs too. Thanks.

The silicone base is excellent for non slip. I have another set that has that but no lids. The lids are wonderful. That's why I bought these (besides the fact that orange is my kitchen accent color). They were smaller than I thought but that's because I am used to large bowls as I cook for large groups. The sizes are perfect for normal cooking.

This is a gift. shipped promptly, and look great, like great quality. Obviously I have not used them so cannot comment on that. They were a bit pricey for onyl 3 bowls, but for a quality product, that would be worth it (I know I have had some plastic mixing bowls that crack easily).

The bowls are just ok. They stained after very little use. The lids are total crap. They cracked and warped after a couple of uses. You can do better buying cheaper stainless steel bowls at Ikea.

This Set is amazing ! Exactly what I have always wanted to have in my kitchen. The bowls are super light, easy to clean and they do not slide. There is nothing more to ask for. I truly recommend these to anyone who is in a search for the perfect mixing bowls.

I could swear I filled this out already... but.... these are my favorite bowls in my kitchen now!! They are not copper bottom but better. They're NON SLIP!!! In a copper orange color! There beautiful and wonderful to work with! Not always fighting the darn bowl slipping!

Overall, cute and functional, but I am sending this back - nowhere on the box does it say that lids are BPA-free. What is more, every plastic should have a plastic code on it (a triangle with a number that tells you what kind of plastic it is). There is none on the lids...
