Works with Windows Hello and some Games
The detector camera is very well built and makes me think I have got something quality for my money. The install on my monitor was easy, the box contains a couple of stick-on plates for use with the magnet, so if you needed to swap between a couple of PC's easy. There is also a larger plastic mount which I would have used but for it blocking the monitor button. Once in position, wait for the software to load and follow the setup instructions. The drives install just as they say and setup is easy. First, you adjust for your monitor size, by adjusting a couple of on-screen arrows to point to the marks on the Tobli. Once that is done look at some spots until they blow up, calibration done. Initially, I had this plugged into my hub, didn't work perfectly, sometimes the drivers would fail. So I used the included USB extension cable and connected direct to my PC. What a difference it now works perfectly with Windows Hello, I just need to look at my PC to unlock it. At present that's about all it will do on a standard PC until you play a game. You can not use it as a standard camera. It would be nice if I could and also if it worked with more business type applications, i.e. use it to scroll the browser while reading. Not sure how that would work while typing but I'm sure the developers will be working on something. I have tried it with a couple of games and it again worked perfectly. Took me a while to get used to the screen scrolling just by looking. I don't play the shoot/fight games so for me it's flight sims and driving.

Terrible considering it cannot power itself
This device is not fit for purpose, It comes with NO WARRANTY, be warned if there is a fault then tough luck. The problem with them all is that it lacks the power to run itself even on my beefy PC. Janky movement and you need to use free software to run it. This is about as cheap as expensive gets. The Customer service is the typical full of eastern promise but absolutely sweet FA gets done. And if you have used Track IR ever in your life then do not even bother, Smooth as brick dust. Terrible company and support.

COOL!
One of the best investments I made, I play a lot of simulations and this just changes everything for me. Highly recommend.

Too good to be true, returned product, your mileage may vary
So the good, it was easy to set up, pretty much worked out of the box and it required very little adjustment to get working. It seems to be really well made and the whole product felt premium. However, I just didn't get on with it at all. I play both flight and racing sims and wanted to find a middle ground between using VR and using monitors. Whilst this does what it says on the tin, the camera movement never felt quite smooth enough regardless of what game I was playing, the whole using your eyes to refocus the camera just felt super unnatural and I found the head movement aspect poorly executed. I'm sure for some people this is an amazing solution, but it definitely wasn't for me. I would also say, for what it does and the performance, it seems pretty overpriced.

Nice Add-on for simulation games
Bought this to play truck simulator games. The tracker I got was dead on arrival. Couldn't get it to work (device was not detected). Spent hours trying to figure out what was the issue, and ultimately came to the conclusion that it was probably a defective piece. I was told it's not possible to get a replacement, but could return it, which I did. I had to wait for a week or so to get the funds back. Then I ordered it again, and this time it worked straight out of the box, thankfully. The eye tracker is useless for me, as it's not convenient for the screen to move with slightest movement of the eye. If you look at the edge of the screen, the screen pans, and this makes the display very shaky. I mainly needed the head tracking, so turned off the eye tracking and now it works just as I intended. Just watch some videos on YT on how to adjust the settings to your personal use and it will help. Please note that this won't work on monitors which are far away (mine works up to 2 feet away from the screen). If your monitor is further away than this, this will be useless. I have this working on a 32" monitor. This is useful for only a few games (see list of supported games on Tobii website). It's of no use for all other games.

Works really well with games written for it
Update: Added a star even tho the below is true because when I had an issue they replied to me within a couple of hours and were happy to resolve the problem in any way they could. Problem is, there aren't that many games written for it (at least ones I play) and I'm not sure more will be written for it in the future as there's not much online noise about it (I've tried to find out about both Dying Light 2 and Cyberpunk 2077 but not gotten a response). Companies seem to be more interested in getting eye tracking built into VR headsets, which is a good thing but for games that don't support VR the Tobii is an excellent eye / head tracker, if it could emulate the IR Tracker for head movement that would vastly increase the amount of playable games. Whilst there is software that can use it to do mouse actions (something I thought would be built into the base software), there's an extra cost to use that, plus the demo of Iris I tried was too sensitive and by the time I went back to try different sensitivity options it had timed out. The quality of the device feels good, but if you have a curved screen you get this cheap bit of plastic where the magnetic strip glued to it fell out after a month causing the tracker to drop to the monitor base causing unknown damage (this was the problem that they fixed within a couple of hours and assured me the small drop would cause no damage). In games it works with, it's phenominal tho', really precise tracking.

Great for MSFS 29
Easy to setup with MSFS 2024. The program recognises it and the setup sliders are available in the flight sim. Good for looking around with light aircraft. Have to turn it off when flying airliners as the dial and switches are a bit hard to control. Very pleased with the device.

Honestly with the debate between the Tobii and the trackerIR. Tobii takes the win it has a head and also eye tracker, it supports many games with it . I never had any issues with it. This was worth my money and I would highly recommend if you wanna step up your game.

It finally works great with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. It adds a whole other dimension to your flying without you having to deal with nausea från VR-headsets. With this you can see everything without having to move the mouse back and forth. Just turn your head and you'll see everything, whether it's inside or outside the cockpit.

I heard about the Tobii Eye Tracker 5 from a Flight Simulation YouTuber, and was intrigued to enhance my own Flight Simulation experience by adding a bit of VR aspect, without needing anything attached to my head. I figured the Tobii Eye Tracker 5 was the best option for my needs, and I have not been disappointed. The product does a fantastic job at alleviating my frustrations of having to manually pan around the cockpit whenever I need to view an instrument, or scan out the window. There are many programmable features, and you can set it all up however you like. I would highly recommend this system to those wanting to avoid head attachments. Great item!
