Result is there is a huge difference between a 14 inch and a 16 inch sledge even though they both have a 4 lb. heads. I am very pleased with it even though it was a little pricey but those two inches matter greatly with the impact force. The hammer looks well built and sturdy and the larger wood chunks have no chance of not splitting.
