Soap Dispenser

This is the second dish soap/sponge holder I have purchased this year. The prior one was the "YOFIT Kitchen Soap and Sponge Holder, Sink Organizer (Grey)" that we have since tossed after getting this one which is much better. I've included the foaming soap dispenser from Method and a dispenser I bought on Amazon "mDesign Modern Square Glass Refillable Foaming Hand Soap Dispenser Navy Blue/Brushed" for size comparison. Pros: - Small size fits well in a tight space (i.e. apartment kitchen sink) - Very sturdy composite plastic material, good quality, no defects - Large well for the sponges fits a hand sponge and metal scrubbers well enough for me to get one out with minimal disruption to the other, although for some it may be too tight of a fit - Bottle brush well is tall enough to fit the brush without falling out - Soap dispenser is easy to assemble and is closed on the bottom with a top fill opening. - I like how the spout has a little depression on the top so that I can press without slipping while dispensing soap onto the sponge one-handed. - Small drainage holes located on the bottom of the sponge and brush wells allow for any excess water to drain - The black plastic composite bottom comes off easily and is actually slightly larger than the top to allow water to release slightly instead of collecting in the wells. I've never had a problem with water pooling on the counter. - Best part is no film or slime builds up in the wells or the collecting tray, unlike the YOFIT Cons: - If I thin the dish soap with water it tends to leak out from around the bottom of the soap dispenser cap. Normal dish soap dispenses with minimal leakage. - I wish the spout was large to allow for more soap to dispense each time I press down. - Bottle brush leans slightly out of the brush well Overall: Excellent, would repurchase.

We have an apartment with granite countertops and I needed some kind of container I could keep on the upper side of the stainless steel sink that would hold a sponge, short dish scrubber and dispense dish soap. This unit was the perfect size for that area, keeping the granite counter free from marring. And I loved the idea of water draining into the separate cache bottom. A few days after I joyfully set it up, I noticed the bottom tray was filling with soap. After a week of this, I washed it down, turned it over, and it appeared the round seal wasn't completely bonded or sealed to the main unit, so the soap kept leaking out. Usually, I'd just toss something like this and try a different brand, but this one fit so well and was so perfect for my needs that I contacted the seller to ask if there was a way I could reseal it. The seller was extremely quick to reply and said they would ship me a replacement, no charge and no returning the defective one. True to their word, the new one arrived and is working perfectly. Five stars for looks, functionality and size and 5 stars for excellent customer service!

[Dec 4, 2020 - Review] ZCCZ contacted me soon after I gave my original review, but I didn't see it until much later. Nonetheless, when I did contact them not too long ago, they were very quick to respond and immediately sent me a replacement. The new design is much sturdier (it looks like the gray base is now metal) and no more leaks underneath the soap section! I have revised my rating from 3 to 5 stars because ZCCZ showed they were sincere and was dedicated in providing a good product to their customers! [May 17, 2020 - Original ReviewI love the design and functionality of this soap dispenser and sponge/brush holder, but I noticed after a few days that the liquid soap was leaking into the tray underneath it. I emptied the soap dispenser and added water to confirm where the leak was and found it in a couple of areas in the seam of the underside of the soap dispenser. I did not want to return this item because I really liked it and did not want to look for something similar (and I've been searching for a while) or risk receiving a flawed replacement (and given the rating this item got that's a good chance). So, I sealed the seam (see image) with Gorilla glue and after letting it cure completely I tested the seal by putting water in the soap dispenser. So far so good and you can see how it still sits nicely on the tray.

This is very nice. It’s an attractive piece for the kitchen. The only reason I’m giving a three stars is trying to get the pump together was a little difficult and then the stem was too long. This company offers great customer service.

Loved it! It has weight to it, well made. Very nice looking piece. I’m so glad I purchased it , it’s much classier than looking at a soap bottle . The only drawback is that the tubing for the pump does not go to the bottom of the container - so you’ll have to keep it fuller for it to work . Overall a really nice product.

UPDATE after 7 months of use below. Brilliantly useful and considerably attractive. Classy. It would be an understatement to say this is one of the most useful kitchen tools in my kitchen. I would love one additional brush holder, to the right of the existing one, for straw cleaners. I make smoothies daily and drink warm lemon water daily, from a straw, so I have a few straw cleaners that get tangled in the only brush and bottle cleaner/holder. It arrived with 4 small circular foam rests on the bottom of the marble-look top section that are supposed to help the top piece rest safely and quietly on the base. However, (YES, however) they are strongly stuck in uneven positions. So the upper piece wobbles within the base when I place anything in it (sponge) or pump the soap. I'm trying to come up with a solution. And I will. Eventually. Speaking of the pump, the pump is sturdy and isn't rusting. Be SURE to cleanse the bottom of the brush and sponge holders at least once a week or two. I use a bottle brush and Mr. Clean spray cleaner to keep germy-slime at bay. UPDATE after 7 months: the sponge and brush holders and the black base get REALLY stinky and slimy even with weekly cleansing. I'm thinking that black base is really unnecessary and that the upper stone portion should be designed with a sturdy stand or legs. Also, the brush holder to the right of the soap, it doesn't drain well at all. The hole should be larger. Otherwise, my brushes will be picked up for use daily and be wet at the base of the brush, having rested in undrained water that's slimy. Clearly my opinion of this has declined, unfortunately. And UPDATE Again: Purchased this March 2020, sent it to the trash February 2022. Could not stop the stench smell at the bottom of either sponge/brush section even when I didn't use their black base, at all Really awful smell on the regular even when sponges and brushes were thoroughly squeezed as dry as possible prior to nesting them. Oh well.

I haven’t faced any issues with leakage so far so good and the pump works well. It also looks stylish to me and works with exactly what I wanted. I would buy.

.It is more of a decorative product than for daily use, it is beautiful, well made, but heavy, it breaks easily and I don't appreciate it enough to use it constantly. For me, it serves its function, which is decorative, in line with everything I have in the kitchen, and it looks very nice.
