Extra ports, good performance!
Needed a solution to replace the port replicator for my laptop and give me extra USB ports. This is a great replacement! I have plenty of extra ports now and I can attach my external disk drive without affecting the performance of anything else! I plug it in to a switched outlet and it's super convenient!

Handy device at a good price.
Great item, bought this to connect multiple drives to my modem/router to make a media server, can turn on/off the drives as needed because I don't need them on all the time or all on at once. Being self powered it keeps from overloading the port on the modem. Has a charging port that could be useful if needed. Have only used it a couple of times so far but seems to work OK.

Good value and speed.
This powered hub works well and communicates well with my laptop. Wouldn't consider it very portable as it's a little bulky. Overall though great for a PC or laptop station like I have setup at home. Only thing I wish was that there was a master power switch on the hub as well as the individual power buttons on each slot. The lights can be a little distracting when the computer is powered down and the only way to turn them off is the individual slot power buttons.

USB port hub
This is the second of the this USB hub that I have purchased. I use it on bedside tables to accommodate various devices to be charged, without having to use multiple plug outlets. The red port is for the smart charge for a phone. Lighting around the ports make it easy to see in the dark. Everything connects well, it is easy to use, and devices charge quickly. This was a good purchase, and I would order this hub again.
