I hope to never need this to thump a tire but if I do need to thump I very much find comfort in having this on hand. This thing is SOLID and a very good weight. Handle is just right.

Recently felt threatened in a road rage incident, I decided it was time to carry something for self-defence. Don't have a gun permit, so that was out of the question. A knife didn't seem like a great idea, either. Recently viewed the movie "Falling Down" starring Michael Douglas. In the movie, he was approached by two punks who wanted his briefcase. As he handed it to them, there was a small, stubby bat like this one hidden behind it, and he whacked one of the punks with it, and the other ran away. Thus, this is my reason for purchasing it. Let me say, if you clobber someone with this bat, they are either going to end up in the hospital or the morgue, or at the very least, they'll be in such pain that it gives you time to get away. Highly recommend purchasing.

I bought this to use as a tire knocker. It’s much heavier than necessary - closer to the weight of a full sized bat! Not good or bad, just fact.The plastic feels solid through the handle, as air pockets in injection molded plastic are a concern. So far no sign of material fatigue in the grip. I’m fairly certain there’s no kind of metal rod inside for structural rigidity. as soonAs you hit a sharp edge with this bat, you’re going to have a wicked gouge in the plastic. It’s honestly quite soft and susceptible to surface damage. It doesn’t matter to me - again just a fact.

i seen other reviews complain that it was 2 heavy but for me it feels good would def break a skull if hit with full force

bat is sturdy, solid, on my opinion the perfect weight. I noticed a lot of people criticize the weight like for real? It's a bat lol. I wish I got a little bit of a longer one but honestly it is the perfect size for one hand OR two hand swing. This one is the 24 inch.

I had a decent sized stick/club that I have used for years to take care of things in the yard. Always handy, kept it right outside. No need to run inside to get something else. It broke recently and at a very bad time! I have several Cold Steel products and have always been impressed with the quality and design. The Slammer is awesome. Perfect size, length and weight to get things accomplished. My wife has used it a few times. Now she wants one for her car.

I am very impressed with the built quality and attention to details. This is the first product I purchased from Cold Steel but it definitely won’t be the last! While typing this review, I remembered I had some leftover grip tape and decided to stick it at the end of the bat, for ornamental purposes, of course 😜

I received a baseball bat that lacked any stickers. The company provided four stickers, but they were of poor quality and had an unprofessional design. Although the bat feels sturdy, it feels unbalanced and not worth the high price tag. I expected a balanced bat and premium stickers for the amount that I paid.
