Kante 10 Inch Square Concrete Planter

Good choice for mid century or minimalist design…easy to paint for individual taste…very substantial in weight…while not so heavy as to be difficult to move when filled, it is concrete, and requires some muscle.I bought them twice….would buy them again.

I love these planters! They fit perfectly in the shelving of my arbor gate!

While these are not 100% concrete (which I knew because I read the description), they still look like they are pure concrete but are lighter in weight and should be less susceptible to cracking. I am using two of them for two new palm plants that are about 30" high each. I am using  OAKBAY 5 Pieces of 12 Inch Square Clear Thick Plastic Plant Saucer Drip Tray for Pots (Top Width 12'')  for the drip trays and they fit these planters absolutely perfectly. These planters come with a drainage hole and a plug, but no plastic or metal mesh piece to prevent soil from coming out of the hole more, so I used some leftover screen pieces that I had from a pack that I bought on Amazon years ago. So far, I'm very happy with these planters... some colors are a great value.

A great item overall, of this subtle and classy "cement gray color".

At my request, my husband with trepidation (and with some water and a drill and jigsaw, I think) cut the center bottom out of two square planters, with no problem. I planted 2 prickly pears in them outside, so the roots can extend into the ground. Meanwhile the plants look nice and are safely elevated from my tortoises.

First I ajve to day how impressed I was with the packing, it came without a scratch! The box looks like it's going to be heavy but not too bad. Once it's unpacked it's measurements we're on point: I got it for a 10 inch ledge and it fit perfectly. It seems bigger than I would have expected I guess because it's a square shape. I was able to repot my plant without help as it is much lighter than actual concrete pot. Looks great in my office and get lots of compliments on it. It was a little pricier than I thought it would be but now that it's all done I think the price is right.
