I read many reviews and kept seeing how small the shirts run so I decided to order a size up just to be safe. Now the kiddo is 8yrd old and average in every measurement. 50th percentile for everything, which I'm sure all parents will understand what that means. I HATE that all clothing for everyone can vary so much in size. Plus with the reviews stating these run small I order a boys Large. All his clothes is boys Medium so I was hoping for a good fit. As you can tell in pic, it probably is a true Large. Fits him kind of big. Obviously bigger then any medium shirt he has, so probably a true large. Which makes me mad because do they send any random shirt with random size that so many people have issues with size? Who knows. At least for us it fits. Moving on to material, it is the moisture wicking material, it has padding in the elbows to help with an 8yr olds world cup style diving. Wore it all last season and even though it is an easy league he plays in it held up to games every Saturday, about a dozen washes without loss of color or tears or anything. So I like the shirt.

Fits as advertised. My son loves the color and performance. It had withstood a few washes now and hasn’t faded or frayed.

I ordered this jersey in a youth medium for our U9 boys soccer team. It arrived on time and exactly as advertised. The jersey is made well, and has held up just fine 9 games into the season. We live in the PNW, so it has seen plenty of wet grass and mud. It washes well and holds its color. The sizing is on target. It is just right on the tallest boys on the team, and a little big on the shorter ones. For the price, it’s a 5 Star in my book.

My daughter has this in two sizes and two colors.Pros: has held up to lots of wear and use, regularly used for diving all over rough turf and still looks new, color has stayed the same even with multiple washesCons: the fit isn't ideal - first shirt she said was a little too big so the arm pads were in a weird place, smaller shirt she said was too snug in the stomach. She prefers the larger size and adjusts the sleeves to get the pads in the right place, but if you're not super skinny, the fit can be snug in the middle

*****Update: 2+ years later of year round play and this has held up GREAT! *****Bought for my 8 y/o daughter. Jersey is good quality, great elbow/forearm padding, fits great and has held up to a season's worth of dives looking almost new. Got a few small pulls, either from play or washing machine, but is holding up well and still looks great. Much nicer than what I saw available in local sporting goods stores and the price is right. Most importantly, she LOVES it.

Bought for 6 year old boys team. Bought the Youth Medium It was big on most of them in the arms but fit all the kids YM probabaly better for 7 or 8 year olds but it did the trick. They all loved it so I was happy, Padding in the elbows. I bought it a little big so it would fit everyone. It should fit them all pretty well in the fall. Im happy good buy. Much better than the ones i returned to modells and Dicks didnt even carry a goalie jersey by me. So Amazon nailed this one again! Highly recommended!

Purchased youth medium for my 9 ½ y/o grandson, who is tall and on the slim side. Great slightly loose fit with some room in the sleeves. He loves the padding on the lower half of the sleeves, great color that stands out. I liked the price, the local store was selling goalie jerseys for much more and the padding on the sleeves was not as good. It has been washed several times, no change in quality, I do air dry it. After receiving this jersey I immediately ordered the one in orange, came promptly, also a great color.

This is a well made Goalie Jersey. Just be aware it fits and is sized like a typical shirt. You need to size up one to give them room and to be able to make quick goalie changes.

Just the fact it was small. I ordered two and it fits him perfectly.
