Nice neat easy to use tool, provides a simple check to provide peace of mind. Recommended. I've only had this tool for 30 minutes and have already found a fault in one of the sockets of an extension lead, - one of the sockets has an earth loop impedance of greater than 10 Ohms so will be replaced.

A step up on your usual check plug, this additionally provides an indication of your earth loop impedance (the quality of the earth to your socket). Simple to use and effective.

The loop test really works and it's quite good in "investigating" your home power sockets. If there's a real fault on your electrical circuits, then this device will see it. Of course, this is not a professional-use device, but for occasional home-use will do the job well, in finding circuits faults.

Good to know my earth is OK

Simple to use. I bought the product to confirm if my tests using a volt meter, which suggested to me that my earthing as I calculated was just outside acceptable limits. The meter confirmed that his was the case.

This tester highlighted a serious earth fault that other testers failed to find and which other testers found no fault. Fault found behind some trunking that I didn’t know existed and fixed by electricians in half an hour. Don’t waste your time with other testers. Get this, it could save your life.

Excellent. Even delivered in good time to France, where I needed to check a T-T installation. Just stuck on a travel adaptor.
