I don’t usually write reviews, but this one deserves it. The EZ Dose pill cutter/splitter works exactly as advertised—clean, precise cuts every time with no crumbling or wasted medication. The blade is sharp and lines pills up perfectly, even smaller ones that are usually hard to split. It’s also really easy to use and feels sturdy, not flimsy like some others I’ve tried. The compact size makes it convenient to keep at home or take on the go. If you need to split pills regularly, this is a simple, reliable tool that gets the job done right. Definitely a 5-star product.

Pretty useful little tool for cutting pills. The blade is sharp enough to split most tablets cleanly, and the V-shaped holder helps keep things in place while you cut . The built-in compartment is a nice touch so you can store halves without needing another container. That said, it’s not perfect—smaller or oddly shaped pills don’t always split evenly, and you might get a bit of crumbling. Still, for the price and convenience, it does the job well enough for everyday use.

Works great for round pills. For online pills that you'd cut across the short side, there isn't an easy way to get them to stay. I balanced them while lowering the cutter until it was able to hold it. If I got it wrong, I could re adjust. Not trivial, but not difficult. Very little dust from the cut.

I am so glad I bought this Pill Cutter. It has cut my pills in half and holds them in the container so you can get them. It’s cheap in price and it works Great. I recommend it for anyone who needs to cut their pills in half. You can see what I mean how great it is.

As a senior I must say it is easy to handle, Does the job and you can carry it with you anywhere you go Very affordable Would highly recommend it

The pill will be cut! I have five sizes and this unit cuts them all. The unit is plastic with an embedded razor knife attached to one of the two piece clamshell. The unit opens by placing your fingers at the "button" end of the unit. You will feel two "bumps" AKA "bosses". Place a thumb on one boss and index finger of the same hand and push your fore finger against the other boss while pushing the thumb in the other direction. By this slight twisting motion the clamshell will open. Don't use much force as the unit may go flying. The blade should be in the UP portion of the clamshell. Directly below the blade is where the pill is positioned. Lower the blade until it contacts the pill. Then move you fingers out of the clamshell and while holding the bottom portion of the clamshell with one hand, lower the blade to cut the pill with the other. The cut is very smooth when the cutter is first used. As it ages it will become dull. Time for a new unit as the blade is not replaceable. This is my first time with this unit. It is OK but cuts only one pill at a time. I am interested in how long until I need to change the blade. It does the job though! If they provided a small plastic holder where you could place this unit into it to hold it, it would help the design a lot. It is hard to get a big hand around the unit. If it could clip into a 4" square x .0625" thick plastic base it would allow the unit to be held firmly by one hand as the other cuts the pill. There would be no "skidding across the table" when the unit gets away from you. The unit is very affordable IF the cutter does stay sharp for a long time. The design and price are correct for its performance.

Super easy to use and worked well for small round pills. Unsure about all shapes - but the shape I needed to cut was foolproof. Its basically a x-acto blade in the case and is very sharp. Seemed to split evenly and cleanly. I liked the simplicity of the black colour but I could see the benefit of a bright colour to make it easier to find.

it could cut a little better, sometimes one side grumble and is no longer usable ( pill splitting ability is ok most of the time) therefore the 4 stars. however, it's easy to use and it's safe to use.
