(I know that the outside is flat)** A: No, on the cooking surface, there is a flat three-inch disk. Thus, the interior is not completely parabolic. I don't know why Lodge made the mini wok this way. The larger Lodge woks (14-inch and 12 inch) have perfectly parabolic interiors and cooking surfaces.
