Will the box spring fit inside the frame if we don’t put the support? Meaning could we drop the adjustable box inside the frame?

We’re you able to find out if a box spring fit inside the frame?? Like you, I like my bed on the floor with a box spring underneath but it is almost impossible to find a frame/headboard (that looks nice) to accomplish that. I have a bad hip so elevated beds are a no go for me and I like more support than thin wood/metal slats (hence the box spring).

Weight limit how much can it hold up to?

I’m 225lbs and my wife is around 200 so it holds us lol. Occasionally or little girls hop on it with us and we’ll watch a movie. So I’d guess around 500lbs safely. That’s all I can say

This is just a platform. No drawers. I absolutely love it though.
