JETech Case for iPad Pro 12.9 Inch (1st and 2nd Generation, 2015 and 2017 Model), Auto Wake/Sleep (Dark Grey)

Okay, so first of all I have owned every generation of iPad. So, I have had quite a few. Each iPad I purchase I put an InvisibleShield on it and over time using various expensive cases the InvisibleShield has to be replaced guaranteed. Cases I have purchased before are the $99, $129, $150 dollar cases from name brand makers. I have also purchased Apple brand cases for the iPad Air. When I purchased my iPad Pro 12.9 there wasn't too many choices in iPad cases at the time. An InvisibleShield costs $65 so really I was looking for a case to perform as intended without affecting the InvisibleShield and without obstructing the connection ports that is durable. I came across this iPad case which by all standards looks like an official Apple brand case at a fraction of the cost. I decided to try it, the investment was small and figured this case would hold me over until I could purchase a higher end case when they became more easily available on the market. Well, guess what...6 months later and I am still using this case and have no plans whatsoever to replace it. I love it. Sad, that I wasted so much money on the expensive cases prior to finding this one. Color options are great. This case does not obstruct any of the ports (which others can/have). This case works flawlessly with the iPad, when the cover is closed the iPad shuts immediately off and when opened the iPad turns on immediately. I access this iPad using this case about 12 separate times a day, 7 days a week so that is about 2,000+ times I have directly used this case and have had no issues whatsoever. Shocking, I know. That has not been the case with the higher end cases. Don't get me wrong not all cases are bad, but this case definitely stands out. Now, here is the best part...it does not interfere with my InvisibleShield. WOW! This is the FIRST case that I have purchased, seen and used that does not interfere with the use of the InvisibleShield. Point blank I am a happy camper. I thought for sure there would be wear and tear after much use on this case because of the price point, but no it remains in perfect condition and has held up perfectly. Easy to clean. High quality. Also, what I noticed was the iPad 12.9 Pro is significantly lighter while much bigger than the iPad Air . It was important that this case kept the iPad 12.9 Pro light and it does. The case does not add any noticeable weight to the iPad. Bottomline, I do not have any complaints or issues with this case. When I buy another iPad, I will be right back here buying another case without hesitation. It is a slim case and not bulky. Fits easily in purse.

This was a perfect fit for my old iPad 12.9 pro. Took me a minute to figure out how to fold it up to make a stand, but it is easier once you get it. Lightweight yet durable!

My iPad needs something to protect it. The case works. It’s pretty, the color is great. It’s light and perfect.

(Review of the matcha green): Love the color! Background info: I used to own the $59 cover case made by Apple but it was getting worn out. I wanted to buy a new one so this is my honest review of the JETech in comparison..* JETech Quality 3/5 Value 4.5/5 Apple Quality 5/5 Value 3.5/5 Things I liked: - color options 🤌🏼 - sturdy, durable🪜🪑 - fits snug, snaps on perfectly 👍🏼 - sleek look Things I didn’t like much: - very heavy - weaker magnet 🧲 - inside of cover is rougher material - stiff, not as flexible Quality wise, this cover is just okay; it’s enough to keep for anyone that just wants something that does the job well. Compared to Apple, the magnets on the cover aren’t as strong so I can’t stand up my iPad unless I fold it with the inside cover on the outside. It also adds a lot of weight and so its feel closer to holding a laptop. I compared the inside cover material of the JETech to the Apple cover in one of my photo reviews (The Apple has a more soft and fibrous material, the JETech is giving closer to sandpaper) While the material is a lot cheaper, the quality is still really good for the price point when comparing to how much Apple charges. It still does the job well and I love the color options!

I've only had it a week or so but I really like this. Great price in my opinion. I'll try and update this review - with details on how it holds up. I had the 2015 model, and needed to grab a new case for the camera (also offer up my previous case when I sold the other one) The material this is made of feels great! Smooth, almost like rubber. It doesn't have the same grip as rubber, but it's not slippery so I'm not afraid of it slipping out of my hands - allows me a solid grip with minimal force. Finger prints do show up on the case, and (for the black color) show up only at certain angles. It's easily removed with a cloth and screen cleaner. The magnets are pretty good! Stronger than my last case. I appreciate that when I fold it back (into a triangle to prop it up for drawing) it magnetizes to itself. The material that rests on the screen is nice. Since it's not textured, the only dust left on the screen is from the creases (last case I had would leave dust imprints of the cover texture all over the screen cover - got annoying over time) General likes for this type of product: Love the screen protection these types of cases offer, the sleep & wake functions from the magnets, the different angles I can prop the ipad in because of the folding cover. I don't like how the case holding the iPad seems hard (still same tactile feel I described from earlier though) . I feel like hard cases offer less protection if I were to drop it. I recommend a separate carrying case if you were to travel with it (instead of holding the iPad by itself).

I have a 2nd Gen 12.9 inch iPad that I use primarily as a Kindle and for online magazines and news. The case I had was too cumbersome and heavy, and was a constant source of irritation. While looking for a Smart Cover or equivalent on Amazon I saw the JETech Case and took a chance and ordered it. The case is a perfect solution and is light and and well made. It provides much more protection than a smart cover and is exactly what I was looking for. My thanks to the folks at JETech for such a superior product at a great price!

I ordered this as my old IPad case had worn out. This one was a perfect fit and a great price. It attaches easily and I am still using it. Would definitely recommend!

Very good product

This case is excellent. I ordered it for my hubby’s 2015 iPad Pro and it’s a perfect fit. He had the original apple case ( which they no longer make) and it had completely fallen apart. This was the closest one I could find to the original and other than the fact that the front sleeve isn’t removable it’s a pretty good match. The cut out sections are all in the right place and the back shell fits snugly. It’s very easy to fit your iPad into position. This case fits the 2015 and 2017 models only so be careful before you order or it won’t fit your model. The front sleeve is foldable so you can create a leaning shelf which keeps your iPad stable. It also has a wake/sleep function. The colour is an exact match to the original apple case so looks good. Price wise it feels decent value for money. I’d definitely recommend this case for anyone with an older iPad Pro. It offers good protection and looks smart.
