The best quality and the freshest saffron you can find for the price. I love the smell of this saffron. I mainly use it in my teas. And use it for antioxidants and mood swings is a added health benefit. Updated 6 23/25. I had an issue with not receiving my order I explained to them what happened and how I have yet to receive the order. The only solution is to contact post office. In my town that takes a act of god to get help from th post office.

Ordered this for a special paella and was surprised at the quantity of saffron (a lot). The saffron itself is very fragrant and the cooked flavor (with rice) is superb. Was surprised at first with the bitterness of the uncooked saffron but this was not an issue once cooked. The only negative (which others have observed) is the packaging (threaded metal tin) is extremely difficult to open and required the use of a screwdriver which dented the tin. This is a minor issue but was the reason for a 4 vs 5 star rating.

Great quality. This is my 5th order. Expensive, but worth the price.

Great product and great taste.

So l’m Persian growing up using saffron in our food and dessert. For sure this item is not real saffron. It doesn’t have the taste, flavor and specially intoxicating scent of a real saffron. It just might be a very low grade saffron. Don’t recommend it.
