Onion Soup & Dip Seasoning Mix, 1 Oz

I'm the type of cook who has to have Onion Soup Mix as a staple in my pantry. So, with prices higher than normal in grocery stores, I thought I would try Amazon grocery. I can't wait to try this on my next roast which we purchase only from The Butcher Block. Great Roast, so I want Quality Onion Soup Mix to go on top. I trust Amazon products because I use Amazon trash bags, and freezer bags! I've never had a problem with them. Onion Soup Mix is a great seasoning on Roast, Pork chops and Chicken. Season Sour Cream with Amazon Onion Soup Mix, delicious dip for potatoe chips. Amazon Onion Soup Mix taste, smells and looks just like Lipton onion soup mix for have the price!! Easy to tear open package. Uses are endless!

Generally, everything around here is grown when possible and made from scratch. Sometimes that is not possible. We keep this Onion soup and dip seasoning mix on hand and it's just as good if not better than Lipton's. One thing my wife did recently, was to make a batch of lentil soup using a packet of this mix. She was in the mood to make some and wouldn't you know it, our last onion had gone bad. Well, this mix saved the day and the soup was excellent. One other thing to try is to mix in with your burger and this will make the best burger patties, because the meat is seasoned from the inside out. You could also just make dip. My favorite way my wife makes it is when she adds fresh, chopped parsley and dill (dried works fine as well) a dash of hot sauce, a dash or two of garlic powder, and some salad shrimp or even fresh crab meat, if you're lucky enough to have some. Best served a few hours later, if not the next day, so all those flavors really join together.

I love onion dip. I know it's an old fashioned dip but nevertheless I really enjoy it at parties and as well as a snack. This generic brand is every bit as good as the name brand but half the price. Also, their flavor is better than prepared dip and I can make it with lower fat sour cream for an even healthier version of the dip.

Used once for onion flavor, pretty darn good!

Wanted to make some French onion dip, but was feeling lazy and didn’t want to run to the store. Gave this a try and am so glad I did! Typically I buy the Lipton, and I am now totally converted to this Amazon version. I was surprised by how flavorful it is! Smaller onion pieces than Lipton, which I think helps create a more consistent flavor. Definitely would recommend.

I used up my homemade batch of mix. This was handy to grab for the vacation kitchen box. A quick dip is made with some sour cream. We enjoy it with a bag of chips. I never make rice without adding a pouch to my boiling water. We love the taste.
