Most were either the wrong colour or the spray action was more like a baby spitting!The only one which was good is now no longer made!I was getting desperate as I even restorted to buying brush on paint with a very limited success.I managed to track this paint down a few weeks ago but only had time to try it a few days ago.What a revelation! Plenty of pigment,good spray characteristics and good resistance to form runs.You really do need to spray when it's warm though as it will take ages to dry and be prone to run very easily.As we've had a bit of rare sunshine here in S.Wales,I've used it out on the patio and achieved some great results.Mrs.Midas is well pleased!I'm so pleased,I've ordered 6 more cans.I must add a little criticism after using about 8 cans of this paint.I'd sprayed 3 drawers of a chest of drawers when the next can was slightly darker gold.Not to be outdone,I re-sprayed the drawers and the remainder.I was a bit miffed when I came to spray the carcase as the paint from new cans was the paler colour again.I was not prepared to re-spray the drawers again and so there is a slight shade difference between the drawers and carcase which dosen't show up too much in artificial light.My advice for anyone using this paint is to test spray each can before use.If you have 2 slightly different shades,just use one as a base coat.For the reasons stated,I've down graded this product one star. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Canbrush *by S***O on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 4 November 2013* I used this on the petrol tank of my bike & it certainly resisted petrol. You may need two cans ( as I did ) to get aGood cover & uniform colour . I applied about six light coats sprayed from about two feet away then two coatsA bit closer for a super gloss finish. The paint has a strong not unpleasant smell & will attract insects which willEmbed themselves in your paint work so be careful . It's best to use a primer first for a good smooth finish, I usedA red one & ended up with a rich yellow colour.
