Really cute little curtain that blocks the view of my office door from anyone in my house. It gives a little privacy while still letting the air flow (and heat) warm the whole house. When I shut my office door, the rest of the house gets cool because the temperature is controlled in my office. It is a sturdy curtain and a nice design. I'm probably going to have to press it, to get the wrinkles out. I am considering getting another design for my kitchen door. As I said, it's also a nice little privacy screen.

This noren is of thick material. That being said, if you're looking for something gauzy this probably isn't what you're looking for. It DOES offer high marks for privacy level (again, thick material), quaint and altruistic art, very speedy service, quality product, pre-split panels (some products require you to tear them in half), and there were no unusual scents - just a brilliant and BEAUTIFUL NOREN!

This is really beautiful. I have it hanging over an ugly laundry room that we have to keep the door open for our cats. It really makes the doorway look classy and put together. The colors are crisp and it hangs nicely. The fabric is heavy enough that it doesn’t blow or get hung up on the walls. I had to steam it to get it to look smooth and presentable. I used a spring pressure bar to hang it from my doorway.

Good curtain but the middle stays slightly open, but that might also be because of how wide my door is. Regardless, I feel like the cloth could be a bit wider as it gets closer to the bottom to prevent this.

I did a travel-study in Japan about 7 years ago, and bought my first one from a local store. It worked so well, I can’t stand not having this kind of kitchen divider. This one with the koi is great. It’s kind of a thick fabric compared to my original one, but this does better to keep smoke, smells, sound, and heat in the kitchen, muffling quite a bit of it from leaving. This is a traditional solution that I believe is more efficient than a door. It doesn’t seal as well as a door, but a door takes more time and effort to walk through. It’s a good product at a fair price, at least when I got it.

Exactly as pictured. I love the art and the material of the curtain - exactly what I need in the doorway between the bedroom and the bathroom!
