This is our first RC boat and we’re really impressed so far. It’s fast and easy to use for both adults and kids. Some highlights: -Fast – Typically RC makers exaggerate their speed claims on Amazon and on the box. They claim 20mph for this boat and I would say that’s correct. It really moves. -Great handling and responsiveness – The boat reacts very quickly to throttle and steering inputs and it turns on a dime. It can turn so sharp that you’d think it would flip over at high speeds but it hasn’t so far because the rudder and rear fins are keeping it in the water. The manual lays out a flip over recovery maneuver which is nice to know. -East to operate – My 8 and 6 year old boys figured out how to use the remote very quickly. -Battery alert – We are into RC cars and if an RC battery dies suddenly you can just walk up to it and grab it, but with a boat I was worried about running out of power while the boat was far away from us in the water. Thankfully there’s a very visible blue blinking battery alert light that tells you when to return to shore before the battery dies. -Water-cooled engine – This is pretty cool. RC motors hate heat and a boat motor in particular has to work pretty hard pushing the propeller against water so I was worried about overheating, but this boat has water-cooling which sounds like something you’d only find in a much more expensive boat. A small tube sucks in water under the boat, and then that tube runs inside the boat and coils around the motor several times, then exits out the side of the boat, taking heat out with it. We ran it pretty hard and the motor wasn’t even warm. -Safety feature – There is a sensor on the bottom of the boat that can tell if the boat is in water. It will only run the boat if it’s in water, which prevents my kids from using the propeller in mid-air as a buzz-saw. Really good idea. -Two batteries – We get about 8-10 minutes per battery. -Water tight – The motor, ESC, and servo were bone dry after using because the lid fits very snuggly and securely with 4 latches to clamp it down, and there’s another lid over that. Overall, we really like this boat and are super impressed with the performance and quality, especially at this price range. I know from past experience that DEERC has great customer service so that’s a big plus, too.

What an amazing RC BOAT!! TO be honest, we were a little apprehensive about getting an RC boat, but this was such a dream and so much fun. The package was so inviting - looked great after opening it up. We received it quickly in the mail. We love to see the box looking like the item, with the great pictures and packing it definitely represents the item. The RC Boat itself is solid, SHARP LOOKING in RED, and looks right out of the box. Setting up was super quick and simple. No difficulties - it was easy to use right out of the box - we had it working in minutes! The controls were super simple to use for a first-time RC Boat user. The RC vehicle turns easily, speeds across the water, AND goes in reverse in case you need to move (which we had to do as first-time users). I had my daughter and her friends try it out too. They had a great time racing across the water - and it even did well with the slight waves from the wind. We were all able to easily navigate the lake. Very easy to learn to operate this as the controls were so simple we were driving the boat in no time! The battery held up for both of our lake adventures we were able to have A LOT OF FUN! It comes with a SECOND battery so you can keep the fun going and going. I would HIGHLY recommend the RC boat - great quality for the price, carefree, easy setup, a lot of fun, and so much better than other items I have purchased. Would definitely get another one from them!

This is a terrific little boat! Only thing I’m not a huge fan of is it takes 45-55min to charge the batteries. It would be nice if they included an extra charger (they seem pretty inexpensive). Other little gripe is that water gets inside the boat near the battery even when the tops are properly sealed, I think what causes the most water to go in is going in reverse. I also wish it could turn better; it seems to make right turns easier than left turns (maybe since propeller direction naturally?). Overall it’s a great, fun, fast boat. Excellent boat for the price.

Awesome lil boat! Took it to a breezy lake with lots of chop and this thing handles it fine. Lots of jumping out of the water and hard landings but never stopped. We bought 2 Xtra batts w/ chargers and it worked out perfect. The specs are not exaggerated for once. 20mph on glass and 30 min runs seem about right. 99% water tight too. Had some slight moisture enter through the bulkhead fitting for the steering push rod, but only a few micro droplets after over an hour in the water. Easy to right after capsizing. Just pin the throttle back & forth and motor torque will flip 'er back over. Good range as well. At 10" long it gets tiny quick but never lost connection. The box remote is universally easier for non experienced pilots vs the pistol remotes. My girlfriend had a hoot and is even considering getting one. Good times!!

Very fast for small boat! My son very happy with it.

I expected the battery to last at least 30 minutes. I am new to rc and I’m not sure if 16 mins of playtime is normal. Instructions are poorly written. DO NOT try to lubricate the axils and propeller without inspecting how everything is connected. The instructions to do so are very poor with bad grammar. I snapped the first propeller trying, and screwed it on backwards and the boat wouldn’t work. It’s working now, but it’s a pain to lubricate. I thought you were suppose to lubricate this before using it for the first time, due to poor grammar in the manual. Be careful lubricating it. Cabin fills up with droplets of water easily, which makes me paranoid water will touch the wires that are exposed to the positive/ negative side of the motor and burn it. Takes over 2 hours to charge and I still couldn’t get full bars after charging for 3 hours. Terrible instructions, but excellent design and it’s fun for about 8 minutes until the battery dies.
