Think of that old Christmas Carol "We Wish You A Merry Christmas" and when the song references "Figgie Pudding." This is the kind of "pudding" it refers to in the song (not the exact same pudding but it is the same definition of "pudding"). Now, SD is, essentially a small ball shaped cake with raisins.
