Globe Ichthammol Ointment 20% (Drawing Salve) 1 OZ

This is old school. My husband's mother used it when he was a teenager 40 years ago, and she swears by it. I've been using another type of salve that has been working, but it's not a 100%. This is for cysts underneath the skin or boils underneath the skin. Im putting it on my husband's back. so I will update you after I put this on and let you know how it works. But it is for removing splinters, slivers, cysts boils, poison ivy, nettles. Mosquito bites, spider bites instincts from bees. This is known to help it is black, so it will stain your clothes. It looks like tar. You do have to put a gauze bandage over top of it. You can order them the same time you order this. If you don't have any. It can treat minor infections such as ingrown toenail. It brings soothing relief. You apply it to minor skin irritations. However deep wounds or serious Burns or other conditions, you should talk to your doctor before using it. Make sure you clean the affected area applied on a gauze Bandage, once or twice a day. Repeat, as necessary. Do not rub or massage the affected area. Just put this on there if you have any questions. I got a splinter in the outside edge of my palm. Too deep to dig out. Being an Old Fart, I wasn't going to go to a doctor to dig it out. I ignored it for 4 months. Still a deep bruise looking thing, that was a little tender to touch. I heard about this stuff and found it on Amazon. What did I have to loose? I put a smear of it on my hand and covered it with a band aid. Repeatedly redoing it to try for 24 hours a day coverage. After a couple of weeks, I could tell it was getting smaller and moving to the surface. After 3 more weeks, it was totally gone! Nothing ever actually came out. I guess it dissolved. What have you got to loose? Try it!

Works well to numb the irritation. In my case bought to try to work a splinter out. Did not help with that. Applications did make it more tolerable till I could get it with tweezers. Smells a bit. Not horrible,just very different.
