Maria Nila Color Refresh Cacao – Refreshes Warm Brown Tones

I am dealing with the fallout of previously bleaching my light brown hair, and I am trying to do no more damage to it as it grows out from the microbob I was forced to cut it into last summer. I toned it down some from the dark/medium blonde it was by using color depositing conditioners and glosses in the past, but it always ended up leaving my color brassy and cheap looking since I have a neutral to cool undertone to my natural color. For example, overtone colors go on really warm for brown, and the john frieda glosses I've tried are either warm, too dark, or purple when neutral/cool. I got this on a whim, and I mixed the color with a bit of plain conditioning mask to dilute it (if you have porous or damaged hair, you must be cautious with depositing color, I have learned the hard way). The results are incredible. It toned down the brassiness in just 5 minutes, deposited just enough color, and isn't inky or purple like some non-permanent conditioners are apt to skew. I know what I will be using until my hair is to a respectable length and cut. Highly recommended!

If you’re looking to blend grays, this is NOT it. For that, I use Wella color charm Demi permanent on my roots. This toner is excellent for softening the contrast of bleached highlights with brown hair. I use the color cacao.

Love this gloss! I’ve used dpHUE for many years, would try different ones because of price, reviews etc. But would always return to dpHUE until now! I have baby fine, thin, fragile, mousy brown/gray hair. Gloss adds ‘texture’ and my hair seems less fragile using it. This gloss is much less messy, easier to pump, great for in shower use. Color last thru several shampoos. But, color isn’t my primary goal, it’s the texture, less frizz, hair just looks shiny and healthy. For a quick touch up when I do not have a lot of time, I’ve added it to my shampoo and skipped conditioner. Maria Nila checks all the boxes for me!

This was recommended to me so I tried it and was sorely disappointed. I do not see any difference after I apply this. And in fact, I only noticed that my hair looks and feels dryer. I have no idea what I’m doing wrong or what’s going on but I do really regret getting this.

Did a good job darkenning my blond ends. I am currently pregnant and doctor advised me not to color my hair. However, working from home means a lot of video calls so had to figure out something to soften the color break until i am able to die my hair blonde again. And this did a nice job. My hair feels soft and looks shiny (unlike overtone when i used that in the past). I may get cacao intense too and mix it though to get it tony bit darker. In some areas it turned more reddish but then that may be just my hair pigment. Attached is my before and after pic.

This products is very nice. doesn't drip when applying,very moisturizing with argan oil. But,it doesn't cover grey,and doesn't claim to. Still will use it,really brightened my color. Will have to use powder to conceal my grey until time to have it colored again.

This product works great to tone blonde and brassy highlights. I followed the instructions and left it on for about 5 minutes. The results were perfect and I’ll be using this to help my color grow out. As the product states it doesn’t cover grey but that wasn’t my intent. Definitely worth the price and it left my hair shiny and healthy!

Ho usato questa maschera nella colorazione 6, cacao, per rivitalizzare un po’ i miei capelli biondo scuro. Ho la base del mio colore naturale e le lunghezze decolorate ma già ritonalizzante con un 6, che necessitavano di essere ripigmentate. Il risultato è naturalissimo! Non ha coperto i capelli bianchi ma li ha tonalizzati un po’ e si confondono benissimo e non me l’aspettavo! Ho tenuto in posa il prodotto per 7/10 minuti ma è davvero come se non avessi fatto nulla ai capelli che risultano, leggeri, morbidi e lucidi. Consiglio al 100%

J’ai testé le Colour Refresh Cacao de Maria Nila et je suis plutôt contente du résultat. Le produit est facile à appliquer et se répartit bien dans les cheveux. Il apporte rapidement de la couleur et surtout beaucoup de brillance. Sur mes cheveux, le résultat est assez froid et donne un joli effet brun cacao, sans avoir l’impression de faire une coloration permanente. C’est pratique pour raviver une couleur entre deux colorations ou simplement changer légèrement de teinte. Les cheveux restent doux après le soin et je trouve que le produit donne un aspect plus soigné aux longueurs. La couleur s’estompe progressivement au fil des shampoings, ce qui est justement intéressant si on ne veut pas s’engager sur une coloration définitive. Je recommande surtout pour celles et ceux qui veulent tester une nuance ou entretenir leur couleur sans passer par une coloration permanente.

Die Farb Haarkur ist klasse zwischen einer erneuten Färbung um ein bisschen Farbbrillanz rein zu zaubern bevor der nächste Friseurbesuch ansteht. Die Töpfchen sind etwas klein und Preis-Leistung finde ich hier ein wenig zu teuer. Beim ersten Versuch hatte ich Cacao& White gemischt um es überhaupt erst mal zu versuchen. Beim nächsten Mal habe ich cacao pur genommen. Alles in allem eine tolle Sache die super abdeckt und dazu einen wunderschönen Geruch hat. Beim Auftragen habe ich Handschuhe verwendet die Farbe deckt beim Auftragen sofort und man erkennt innerhalb der ersten Minute schon eine Veränderung. Nach 10 Minuten habe ich ausgespült auch wenn es heißt dass nach vier Minuten keine Farbpigmentierung mehr stattfindet. Alles in allem ein gleichmäßiges Ergebnis ich kann nur sagen dreimal Daumen hoch und werde es wieder kaufen um es zwischen der chemischen Anwendung eines anderen Produkts zu benutzen.

È un prodotto fantastico. Ho capelli decolorati, abbastanza lunghi,fini è porosi. Dopo un mese e mezzo di ricrescita dovevo rifare i colpi di sole,ma questa volta avevo voglia di qualcosa di più naturale è simile al mio colore castano cenere. Ho fatto la prova su una ciocca sottilissima, è giorno dopo ho fatto la maschera su tutti i capelli. Li ho lasciati in posa per 15 Min. Il risultato è veramente ottimo, il colore è ottimo, nessun riflesso giallo o arancione. Si avvicina al mio colore naturale,oltre la lucentezza dei cappelli. Super consigliato. Ho preso la tonalità *Cacao*. Credo che i miei capelli finalmente si riprendono la vitalità con questo prodotto.
