This Nightwing one doesn't disappoint. When I first saw the announcement by kotobukiya and after seeing the detail in the Batman one I immediately needed to add this to my Nightwing collection, not to mention that Nightwing doesn't have a lot of attention in the collectible world (at least officially).It is made flawless with so much detail in a 1/10 scale. His hair and facial features all the way to his costume and Eskrima Stick have detail! A cool feature to all ArtFX+ statues is their magnetic base. The feet of each statue have magnets that help it stick onto its simple square base. This allows you to position the statue into whatever angle you desire without moving the base too much.The pose is iconic to those who know Nightwing well! It's that pose right before he tosses his eskrima stick at your face or jumps with finesse to finish off his quarry... Dick is one of my favorite characters in the Batman universe, but I share the love for the rest of the robins too. Keep the batman line coming Kotobukiya!! Jason Todd Red Hood plzzz wink wink! Damian Wayne Robin and Tim Drake Red Robin welcomed too!! XD Batgirl lines and Batwoman would be cool too! Lol I'll just quote a previous reviewer to end: "Keep the Bat Family coming!!" (The Booserati, 2013). lol though I don't agree with that review based on a non released product and based on pose alone. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I'm A Happy Nightwing Fan *by K***R on June 24, 2014* I'll admit, I was skeptical about the pose. I'm still not sure why that's what they chose for the acrobatic Dick Grayson, but the quality of the statue makes up for it. I was definitely a happy fan once I put it together and sat it on my desk.There are a couple of things to note. First, the sheen in the picture is not exaggerated--this is one shiny Grayson (well, the costume is at least). It works better than I was expecting and makes the figure pop. Second, the base is a simple black magnetic square to keep the statue upright; I know some were hoping for something more elaborate, but I think the simplicity keeps the attention on the statue. Third, the detail on the face and hair are quite good, though not at the same level as the "Batman Black and White by Jock" Dick Grayson/Batman statue. Finally, the escrima stick finishes the statue quite nicely! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Home Run *by A***R on June 15, 2016* Nightwing in Red is what Kotobukiya decided to release to the market for most consumers. They offered a Nightwing in the traditional Blue costume only to those who were lucky enough to grab one at the 2014 New York Comic Con and select pre-orders to some comic shops.I had rather Kotobukiya used the Blue version for retail and the Red for the exclusive considering the popularity of the Blue Costume.This Nightwing is sculpted using the New 52 version of the costume and it looks amazing. Blacks are nice and reflective and the metallic red paint accents really well in any lighting. He fits right in with the other DC ArtFX+ line of characters released already. The magnetic base is just a black base with no logo. The original Justice League figures came with the logo embossed on the top side of plate. I wish Kotobukiya had painted at least the Hero Logo on the non Justice League figures but that is my only gripe.
