The case doesn’t always turn the iPad off when it is closed. It has to be perfectly aligned for the iPad to sleep when the case is closed. 2. It doesn’t hold the iPad up in the “A” position. It keeps sliding down to flat. The ridges that are supposed to hold the iPad aren’t pronounced enough to hold the unit in place. The color is as described. I like that. The cover is sufficiently protective. I like that too. I can’t speak for long-lasting reliability. I generally go through iPad cases pretty fast but I know this one will last longer. My previous cases had vinyl glued to the back with a trim keeping it together but it always peeled off.
