Shank's Root Beer Extract, 4 fl oz

I recently purchased this root beer extract and it is absolutely wonderful. This single four ounce bottle makes five gallons of root beer, perfect size for several uses.It's wonderful and absolutely delicious. Perfect. If you want to control your own sugar content. Mixes very easily, nice and thick. I love that they put a recipe right on the bottle for you. Just in case you don't know what you're doing.Overall, this was a wonderful value for the price that I paid

I love a root beer float but would rarely have them use Halo Top light vanilla ice cream. It’s 90 cal a serving per serving and I add Barq’s diet root beer (add your favorite brand) and the magic is adding EXTRA ROOT BEER EXTRACT. It’s heavenly! I used to get McCormick but it was so old so I wanted a new bottle and it’s no longer available so I went with this stuff. Now I am wondering what else I can make with this. I am considering buying a second bottle for fear of it being discontinued or something. I normally I could never eat just 1 serving of ice cream but I usually can with this Halo. However, on the rare occasion I have 1 1/2 or 2 servings, that still only 135 cal to 180 cal….way less than regular stuff. And I can’t tell this is different (I’m not one if those crazy people that says a snickers bar made with dates and peanut butter tastes as good as the real thing).

Actually makes really good root beer with just sparkling water and sweetener, expected it to taste like chemical Ish battery acid but literally tastes like something I’d buy from the store. However, there seem to be some issues with the cap/ceiling when I open the package and it leak a little bit, but most of it remained inside.

One small bottle lasts a long time. I bought it for root beer pie , we made two. I now use a few drops per bowl of ice cream to mix up root beer ice cream. It's still mostly full and I've had it for months. I'll buy again when this runs out.

Great item but arrived leaking all over because no one checked to see if the lid was tight which it wasn't

This had to be ordered online, because local retailers do not carry it. I made a Root Beer Float Pie with it. Went over really well, it was gone in 2 days. The flavor was right on. It actually tasted like a root beer float (in a pie!) You can use it to flavor a lot of different things too. Great for baking! Can't wait to bake something new with it or maybe make some root beer.

Tastes real. Gives me indigestion. Might be alright for others. I can usually stomach anything!!
