Awesome guitar with incredible tone
Awesome guitar with incredible tone! The pickups are out of this world, great sensitivity, punch, vintage sound, but not too much as lace sensors. Besides pure hendrix (it does match hendrix tone), I nailed Keith Richards tone in 5 minutes. The guitar is also good for funky rithms too. This is my 4th strat and sounds way better than my 2 american standards 2016 and 1997 flat pole PUs. The only sad thing is I wont be playing my other 3 strats for quite a while.

If youโre gonna buy this guitar think twice..
I took some time to evaluate the product. At first glance, it looks impeccable, beautiful, and the inverted neck fascinated me. After playing it for a few days and trying to adapt to the instrument (I have a Gibson Les Paul), I found several details that caught my attention, mainly because of the price I paid for this guitar. Honestly, you wouldn't expect to find a twisted neck on a guitar that bears the Fender name and costs $1,200. It's something that truly disappointed me. The guitar is hard and not at all pleasant to the touch; my Les Paul with .10 strings is softer and more comfortable to play. The tuners aren't very stable in tuning; it goes out of tune after two tremolo actions. The truth is that I am very sorry about this purchase, I expected something better for the price... the guitar looks good, but when it comes to playing it doesn't feel like a 1200usd guitar... Fender is dirtying its name with these products, I don't think I'll keep it, I'll probably sell it and go for a cheaper and better quality one.

A really nice affordable guitar that plays and sounds great and looks fantastic!
This guitar sound great! it plays really well (after adjusting it to my like) it is a solid feeling and easy to play insturment. Now Some people will complain that it is not 'exactly' a replication of Jimi's guitar and that's correct. In my opinon it takes the best of both worlds and successfully melds them together. The reverse headstock which results in teh string lengths being the same as Jimi's probably makes the big differenct. Teh revers slant on the bridge pickup (compared to a normal right handed strat) makes a diffrence as well. Of course the Vintage 65 pickups probaably makes the biggest difference. It plays nice, sounds great, looks really cool and it has Jimi's signature on it as well as the authentic hendrix logo (on the neck plate). Will it make you sound like Jimi? Probably not, will it help you sound great, most likely. As an observation: I think this is the way the Headstock should have always been, it just seems better.

Piece of junk
Input jack not soldered, bridge pick up not wired correctly, not even connected to selector switch. Fret work is terrible, $1,000 on this piece of junk. Save your money there in nothing of quality in this guitar. Shame on you for even associating it with Jimi Hendrix

Amazing Player and Tone after Setup
Great player and build quality. Pickups are of vintage output and sound great! There is some magic to the reverse headstock, hard to put my finger on it, better sustain on the low end perhaps. Only gripe was the "all over the place" setup, or lack of any setup. Find it hard to believe Fender shipped this guitar. Pickup height all over the place, saddle height no where near 9.5", neck had enough back bow that strings where laying on the fretboard. Basically it needed, a setup, which can be expected, but this one felt like it wasn't inspected at all after assembly. A setup was easy enough, just a bit disappointing in Fender for this one. Others have come in nearly perfect, needing only minor tweaks to my taste.

Everything I hoped for
This guitar arrived in great shape. It was well packed and came in a really nice gig bag which helped protect it. It seems to be well set up too. I expect it'll sound great when I learn to play it.
