Paige was so excited when she opened these walkie talkies. She loved the pink colour although they are also available in other colours I know she would love the pink. They are fairly small so just the right size for little hands. Sturdy feel and many functions. I'm not very technical but managed to quickly scan them so that we could speak to each other. Really clear sound and a fab beep after so you know when the other person has finished talking. You can also ring the other person which is fab. At first we just tried them in the house and garden but then we went for a walk on the weekend and they have a really good reach without distorting the sound. Really impressed. Will need to buy 8 AAA batteries

Put in batterys and immediately one started getting really hot the next thing there's wisps of smoke coming from the walkie talkie the top of the walkie talkie is now extremely hot and poses a fire risk and the whole flat smells of burning plastic

So I recently bought this for some fun with my 6 year old and we’ve been enjoying it.. however this evening heard someone else talking on our channel which was a bit weird.. I thought these walk-in talkies were paired only to each other but it seems anyone can get on them whose in the area on your channel.. I wouldn’t care too much if it was just me but now a bit concerned that a man has been in our conversations with my 6 year old.. I mean they are free to curse or say anything.. apart from changing the channel which can of course have the same problem.. what can you do..

Great fun walkie talkies set to use in garden, at the park or even indoors. They have good sound quality and are easy for children to operate. They will give u ease of mind when they are playing outside but can still communicate with u or save u shouting up the stairs at home to see what they need or have some conversations. They will inspire kids to have creative play with speaking in codes on them and playing spies or police officers. It is good as it gets them out and about in the fresh air. U will need to provide batteries as there are none included and i'd suggest using rechargeable ones as they are better for the planet.

These are great value and easy to use, even 'Sausage fingers' Frank mastered the controls quickly. One word of caution, the frequency is such that it is possible for other CB enthusiasts to hear your channel. Admittedly, this isn't a major issue for a pair of 10 year olds playing army in the woods, but for my team it proved catastrophic when attempting to warn of an overly enthusiastic copper loitering outside the Hatton Garden Safety Deposit building.

Great product, good range, clear sound, easy to use. Bough as a present for a 5 year old and he fully enjoyed it, figured out how to use it straight away and even got a 3 year old to join him. Both really enjoyed playing with it.On a downside the item description states you need 4 batteries but it does not clarify that it is 4 batteries in each device so you need 8 for this set.Also the battery compartment is super tight so you really have to force the batteries into it.But overall very good quality product, better that you would have expected from a kid walkie talkie.I can definitely recommend it and we will be buying more sets for gifts :)

Easy to use, apparently this is meant to have 20 odd channels, so far stuck on 7, a few crackles is present, uses 4x3AAA batteries per monitor, we have tried it at 4/5 metres apart and outside, seem to work, duracel plus batteries seem to work, our little seem to enjoy playing with it, price could have been a bit lower in view of being mislead about the number of channels. It is very competitive, you can get some cheaper, i relied on the 30 odd channels which seem to be missing.

I purchased this item and I am very happy with it, very clear to hear one and another and is simple to use.However I was not happy that an unknown man was trying to communicate through the walkie talkie- maybe I should of done more research as a parent. I think these are great maybe not for younger children.
