Having the batteries in the back instead of the bottom is obviously a great bonus, and so is the adjustable dial for the amount of soap dispensed, but for me being able to clearly see at a glance how much soap is still in the chamber is the biggest advantage that this dispenser has over most others. The only downside if there is one, is the very plastic-y assembly of the actual unit; on the side of a sink this doesn’t matter at all and the machine looks quite stylish, but on closer inspection this is clearly a mass-produced and churned out factory item. Fantastic value for money ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Holds a lot of soap (500ml) easy to fill batteries last a long time *by M***N on 22 October 2022* Like the filling cap can be removed to allow a 500ml bottle to sit in the hole and drain fully, my last ones with lids did not allow a bottle to be stood to drain fully. Do not like the battery cover, though safe the screws are easily damaged after a few battery changes as they are cheap screw heads. (i do not tighten them now) The battery cover lid does not sit flush but a minor problem really. The detection is good and does not false trigger when i clean the sink near the dispenser. my other ones did this all the time and ended up with wasted soap. The adjustable control is ok, but a slide switch would be great as the adjustment wheel is easily changed, it might be also a great idea for the next one to have amount marking as a reference point? You end up with not enough or too much? but i must say it is adjustable over a good range. Maybe an internal adjustable one and a slide on/off outside? You do have to keep trying it to see if the amount is right so a waste of good soap! Anyway, price is not too bad. I use lithium AA rechargeable and get 3 fills out of a set before recharge needed with my setting. It is a little larger than some, but it does work well. update Feb 2024, this is the second unit that has stopped working, though the supplier replaced the last one FOC and has been ok, which was great customer service. This unit has no power at all, i checked the batteries, these work in another dispenser ok.
