Rail Clamps

A good solid mount. Adjustable and strong.

These offer a time tested well designed platform onto which a number of items can be secured onto a railing or stanchion. The units come with rubber sleeves to accomodate various rail diameters. The plastic feels strong and not brittle. Good quality and worth the price.

Works great for mounting my 100W solar panel to the rail of my sailboat. I used a strip of aluminum, drill holes to mount to the back of the panel for a bracket and then attached to my rail with these. With the proper size rubber sleeve they grip very firmly and seem sturdy.

Clamp screws aren't captive so it is easy to lose them when you unscrew.

They work - very secure and robust - but they are kinda big and obtrusive - lacking in a certain elegance!

Was a perfect fit for my project. Was used to attack a solar panel to the stern of my sailboat.

These were ordered to mount 4 new solar panels on our sailboat, and they worked exactly as planned. They appear to be well made, and all the parts supplied (nuts, bolts and rubber pads) were first rate.

I almost sent these back but then, I tough that I would try a small modification that would not harm these rail clamps at all. When I finished my modification, they were and are perfect. Thank you who ever it is for coming up with this great little device. C.W.R.
