Bought for a wood-burning stove that was needing a bit of a freshen up. Easy to work with. Flows well and coats in a fine mist. Surfaces prepped with wire wool and a bit of sandpaper, a couple of light coats gave a nice even and smooth finish. Covered in less than half a can for a couple of coats. Lower odour than other paints too. This was the second attempt following a terrible result using the big name brand beginning with 'R' a certain DIY chain sells. Night and day. No clogging, no streaks and runs, and no peeling and cracking when subjected to high temperatures. The finish is a properly flat matt. Actual colour I'd say is more towards a very dark grey than completely black, so maybe want to look out for that if looking to match existing paint, but it looks good on our stove. I don't leave reviews that often, but this is great stuff and deserves the good reviews.

Brilliant. Used this product to cover tiles around a fireplace. Cleaned, sanded tiles first, then used a spray primer and finally several fine coats of Jenolite. Goes on beautifully smooth with no splashes or runs. Photos show after and before, showing a fantastic fire flip!

Excellent product. It has given my fireplace a deep matt black finish. I used it to paint the fireboards surrounding my wood burner. The coverage is amazing and if I had realised it was so good I would have ordered the smaller 250ml tin. As it is I now still have most of a 500ml tin left over. The fumes are pretty hefty so make sure you have a big window open and ideally create a through-draft by wedging open another door or large window. If you can’t do that I would recommend setting up a fan to blow the fumes away from you towards an open window.

Covers stonework inside fireplace well. 500ml tin just about did 2 coats. Be aware paint gives off extremely strong fumes. Doesn't say anything on tin but it needs white spirit to clean brushes etc

Used to repaint a BBQ. Coverage was good with the paint drying very quickly. One issue was the spray cap kept coming off during use which is why not 5 stars.

Have used this to cover over some flu repair to make it look part of the stove and make the top of my fireplace look amazing. Very easy to apply, doesnt flake and ive had the burner on a few times so has done a great job.

Prodotto efficace, sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso dalla qualità di questa vernice. ○ Si stende molto molto bene, la regolarità della bomboletta, la qualità della vernice permettono di evere risultati eccellenti. ○ Colore nero opaco- del tutto uniforme, molto coprente già dalla prima mano. ○ Resistenza alle alte temperature, io ho verniciato lo scarico di uno scooter 50 e vi assicuro che scalda, non arriverà a 200° vero , ma la vernice non ha subito nessuna variazione, nessuna crepa nessuna variazione di colore ecc.... ○ Il costo è proporzionato alla qualità. ○Prima della verniciatura è importante rimuovere l'eccesso di ruggine con una spazzola d'acciaio e pulire bene con uno,straccio imbevuto di acqua ragia, lasciare asciugare e si può procedere alla verniciatura. ○ Durante la stesura del prodotto la finitura è lucida questo permette di vedere quanto prodotto si sta applicando e così si possono distinguere le zone dove si è fatta la prima mano, in seguito appena si asciuga diventa opaca. Consigliatissima !
