I heat for 2 1/2 minutes and then it lasts for a good 30-40 minutes **Q: Does this fall down with the tie around? I have one that velcro on and never falls down but I need a back-up one.** A: This tie can hold the heat wrap's weight very well. The tie won't stick to your nice clothing either. You will be happy with this heat wrap. Before we fill it with flax seeds, the heating area is 22 inches long. After filling, it became smaller. It still measures 18 inches wide and 10 inches tall. It is the biggest portable moist heat wrap available. High quality too. If you take care of it, it can last you many years. Best wishes, Sharon **Q: how big does microwave have to be to hold this heating pad?** A: Most microwave can hold it. Try to fold it so it doesn't block the turn table. Thanks, Sharon Biomed DB Design, LLC **Q: Can it be washed?** A: No this one cannot be washed. The gel hot and cold wrap has the same size and it has a cover that can be washed. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B072Z272P3/ref=mp_s_a_1_15_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1531234947&sr=8-15&keywords=Sunny+Bay Thanks Sharon Biomed DB Design, LLC ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A great pad ! *by L***L on March 21, 2026* I only used this pad as a heating pad and I love it.
