If you open the can, the shelf life is 1 year? what if you use a small amount and then put it in a Mylar bag? will it last 25 yrs?

Hello, because we have no control of the way our product is "re-packaged" we would not be able to guarantee our shelf life once "re-packaged." Thank you.

Does the milk alternative contain casein ?

The label says caseinite (sp?) and also says contains milk and soy. It is not ALL milk but is made with milk derivatives.

It is made with whey, so it will have some lactose

What is the difference between this morning moo's and the country fresh?

Country Fresh is dehydrated actual milk. Morning Moo is a milk alternative made with the list of ingredients shown on the info page. Personally, I like the taste of it much better than powdered milk.
