I had heard about these years ago, but was very skeptical. However, I decided to give them a try. It does seem to make a difference in how my produce last. We ate a lot of fresh produce throughout the year and it has been frustrating to have to throw it away because we don’t eat it in time. This little gadget helps to keep our produce surviving and thriving much longer.

Love this Product and very impressed. I bought Organic Bananas that were yellow already (testing new Bluapple) and 4 days later they are still delish without major brown spots. So happy to have found this product and so glad to buy Bananas again that stay fresher longer 😊

I've been using this for a year now. It does make a difference, especially the berries. I keeps the fruits and veggies fresh for longer time.

I was skeptical at first but these really work. My boyfriend and I buy most of our groceries at Costco and the fruits and veggies almost always go bad before we can finish it all. But its still cheaper than buying it from other supermarkets so…Well I took a chance on this product and I’ve been pleasant surprised with how well it works. It extends the longevity of your produce so that it won’t spoil and go in the trash. Its less wasteful and better for the environment…something I’ve been trying to be more conscious about. Cutting down on plastic/paper waste was pretty easy with mesh produce bags and sponge cloths like this instead of paper towels. But food waste has been more difficult to tackle until I found these! You just place it in the fridge or wherever you keep your produce. Theres a packet inside the blue apple that absorbs ethylene gas, the things that causes your food to ripen. Most of our fruits go into the humidity control drawer in the fridge so that’s where we have ours. Before we got these, our produce would go bad so quickly (sometimes in 3-4 days) but now that can easily last 1-2 weeks. Lettuce, apples, bananas, onions, ginger, it works for everything. You can tell it’s fresher by just looking at it. They don’t get soggy anymore. It hasn’t been 3 months yet so I haven’t had to replace them yet but it sounds easy enough. You just twist open the plastic container and replace the packet. The product comes with 8 refills so that should last me at least a year. Not sure if I can buy just the refills themselves but I’ll figure that out when I have to. I would highly recommend it if you’re experiencing the same problem that I was having. The effect is noticeable, and you’ll save money from not having to buy as much groceries. Yes the product itself isn’t cheap at $20 for 2 but it won’t take long for you to get that money back from your produce. PS- The Bluapple is made in the US, not China!

To be honest, I think these help but I need to put them in a bag with the salad or other item to make a difference. Just setting one in the crisper drawer seems to make little difference. I wish they worked magic, but they don’t. The real variable is how much moisture there is in the fridge, which depends on lots of different factors. These probably aren’t entirely worth the money, but I keep using them because salad is expensive.

I set a reminder to replace every 3 months - super easy to do, and keeps produce fresh much longer!

We have noticed that vegetables stay so much fresher with the Bluball! There is no wastage as previous.

I received only two bluapples, but consignment didn't contain any refills. In the product description it is written as, 2 bluapples and 8 refills, which will serve for 1year. But I didn't receive any refills.

I wasn't sure about the product, but my produce was getting bad too often so I decided to try. I can say it works as described, from things going to the garbage in 1 week, now they last at least for 2 weeks so I can eat them instead of throwing away food. Happy customer!
