AVON Skin So Soft Bug Guard Plus IR3535 Expedition Spray - 2 Pack

I have lived in the provinces of the Philippines for the past year. I took a supply of this with me before I left and used it everyday. Because the threat of malaria and dengue fever is very real where I live, I use this everyday and It works wonderfully! The mosquitos are bad in the Philippines, but they are not as big and as aggressive as the mosquitoes in Michigan or Minnesota. It would be interesting to try this product in those environments. The SPF protection is also effective against the hot Philippine sun. On a side note - the ants are very active where i live. All kinds of ants, big ants, little ants, black ants, red ants, most of them bite. When using this before working outside, I still get ants on me but they do not bite! Although its kind of expensive, for me the protection is worth the cost. I like this product and will be buying it again. Yes it's a little smelly when it first goes on, but not as bad as most insect repellents, and the smell quickly disappates. It has been safe for me to use on my face and near my eyes. It really does help keep your skin nice! In my environment, the protection is only good for about 4 to 6 hours.

I am very sensitive skinned and I'm very sensitive to smells. I also have tried a lot of different bug sprays, for golfing. This is by far the most effective and the best smelling. It does not smell very strong, but pleasant. Sometimes Bug sprays make me feel sick. This one has not made me feel bad.

I have purchased this in the past. It works as an insect repellant as well as most products (better than nothing, but you still get pestered by insects from time to time, wears off after an hour or two). Hard to say if sunscreen is true to claims, but it is definitely superior to no sunscreen. Smell is lightly chemical and not feminine, but a million times better than any Deet product. Name implies it’s a skin-softening lotion, which it is not; not even a little bit. I have acne prone skin and it doesn’t cause breakouts for me. I just bought this through seller “cosmeticbeautyplace.” The item was delivered without pump sprayers, just plain caps. I’ll need to go buy some spray bottles to use this, or deal with a return. Avoid the seller called “cosmeticbeautyplace.”

I love this product for my grandson. It’s quick non greasy and easy to use. We live in a rural area with mountains, farmland and we are surrounded by woods. It keeps bugs off and since I have used this every year since he started to walk have only found one tick on him. He’s seven now and ticks have been a problem the last few years. The bugs handled and the awesome sunscreen built into one product is a blessing for this granma who’s raising and outdoor boy. Love this

Great value for the money! I will never use anything else Avon skin so soft was my go to for years and then they made this product and it works the same and the best for repellent of bugs and mosquitoes and noseeums I’m in Florida and never get bit I spray my pups legs as well!

We do a lot of photography road trips and in some cases we find ourselves in areas with a lot of bugs. Sun screen is also needed most of the time. This product meets both requirements and it comes in a nice spray bottle that allows application of the product to even the part in your hair. The product smells good and doesn't seem to burn your eyes like some products do near the end of the day. The true test of this product was on a recent test to Antelope Island in the Great Salt Lake in Utah. That is a beautiful place but the mosquitoes and knats are everywhere. This is particularly true as you drive on the causeway to access the island and state park. We stopped several times to capture some amazing shots of the island and the flats. I kid you not in places the mosquitoes were so thick that they blocked getting a clear shot. Amazingly this product kept the bugs away and there were millions of them flying near and around us. Based on this experience and success, I just ordered two more bottles and will be using it on all of our road trips.

I work outdoors in Tampa, FL. My work area specifically is usually heavily infested with Mosquitos, no-see um's, and any other kind of flying blood sucking thing out there. I've only been using thus product for about a month and I LOVE IT! There are plenty of other products out there that I've used that work, but I was dousing myself in chemicals constantly and didn't want to continue doing so. I don't mind the scent, especially compared to other bug/sunscreen combos I've used before, this one isn't bad at all. It is a floral-type smell. Before I start work, I spray a little on whatever extremities exposed, rub it in to get even coverage, it is a little greasy at first then seems to dry out after a little bit. Again, I don't care to much because I have not been bitten by a Mosquito or gnat or anything since wearing this stuff. I will be a forever customer.

Frustrating to wait so long to ship it from the USA to Australia and… the bloody nozzle spray part doesn’t have the correct thread so it won’t attach to the bottle.
