OUT FREAKIN STANDING no writing on top can burn what you want. I would buy again..wait I did
Have had before. They all worked. No bad discs. Work great when used in computer. Will not record on DVD recorder /player. Have DVD/VHS recorder and player and DVD recorder player different brands. Will not record on DVD+RDL. Big block comes up can not record on this disc. Put same disc in computer did perfect job. The double layer (they say) give better picture. A lot of the movies are on DL. Some like 007 ( I was told longer than two hours) and to get better picture than standard DVD is why it is used. Standard DVD is 4.7 GB and DL 8.5 so to me that seems right. ### There is nothing on the top no right writing- nothing. . You can burn what you want. OUT FREAKING STANDING. deserves many stars more that 5. At one time I could not get all Verbatin in pack to work. I ordered 20 and about 10 did not work. I took a chance on them over year ago. Glad I did. Worked great. Would buy again. Wait I did. Would recommend to friend.

Great DL DVDs at an even better price
I make a lot of my own DVDs at home and like to make them look as professional as possible, which is why I like having the printable label on the top. Finding cheap DL DVD's with Printable labels can sometimes be hard. Usually I can find packs for around $1 disc, but I paid $35 for 50 with these. Great price point right away. I also haven't had 1 become a coaster on me, so they're definitely good quality. This can be different with every computer. It all depends on your burner and its compatibility with the discs. I use an LG Bluray Burner Model #WH10LS30. I also use a low speed when burning as higher speeds can increase the chance of failed burns. These can burn at up to 8X, i never go above 4X. So I cant review burn speed. The Printable label looks great once printed on. No signs of fading or smudging. Overall these are great discs and I plan on buying more. If you are unsure if they will be compatible with your burner, there are 10 packs out there you can buy to try them out. You probably shouldn't buy the 50 pack until you are sure, But I seriously doubt you will have any issues.

Mostly reliable but...
I took a chance on these after reading the previous reviews and am mostly satisfied with this product. I have had about four coasters but that likely had to do with a power issue here in my home and trying to do too much other stuff at the same time. I have three external burners, two are brand new so I am satisfied with this brand, however two things I think contribute to failed burns. #1 It seems I am more likely to get coasters when using discs near the bottom of the spindle. Maybe this has something to do with the weight of the other discs affecting the laquer, I dunno. But it just "appears" to be a pattern. #2 as someone else previously said, be sure your system is up to date and fast or else doing other things in the background may compromise your burn. Bottom Line: Verify Verify Verify. I use Imgburn to make backups of personal media and always verify my data after writing. This will immediately report the integrity of your content so don't forget to verify.

Superb Printable DVD+R DL
In the past I've used Verbatim and Memorex DVDs. I had never heard of Optical Quantum, but decided to give them a try. First, the price was very attractive ($32.95 w/free shipping) when compared to the alternatives. Second, these DVDs are printable over their entire surface, with the exception of a very small hub area, while other DVD DLs have a relatively large non-printable hub area. I've now used roughly 25 and have not had a single bad DVD. Recently I ordered a second spindle of 50. That order was at the same $32.95 w/free shipping. The timing was very fortunate as I see that the price has now moved overnight to $48.00 plus $5.49 shipping ($53.49 total), a remarkable 62% increase. Although I was virtually certain to continue purchasing this product at its earlier price, I may or may not do so at its new, inflated price. In any event, this is an excellent product that can be relied upon to produce top quality results.

Great print quality, and no issues with any blank disc yet
Great product, seems well made but it will be a decade or more before you can ever determine if the media will develop the dreadful “laser rot” which is a colloquialism for when the glue binding the sandwiched layers of the disc start to corrode and oxidize and render the disc useless. But so far so good - my trusty old Epson Stylus Photo R200 prints directly onto the discs without issue, and even high-res prints that saturate the disc with a lot of ink look fantastic. Hopefully they’ll last a good long time. This is my go-to brand now.

No Coasters
We own a dance studio and recently had a showcase that we also videoed. With the rising popularity of Blu-ray and the recent purchase of an HD video camera we decided to give our patrons an option of a Standard Definition DVD or a High Definition, AVCHD, DVD (incidentally, the AVCHD DVD only plays in a Blu-ray player or Play Station 3). We also wanted to make up a personalized label so it was either Litescribe or Printable disks to run through our Epson R300 photo inkjet printer. Once the video was edited, rendered and then a disk image created, we saw that the Hi Def image was 8.1 GB. I made a trial disk using some DVD+R DL stock that I had on hand and the video played perfectly. I have looked in our local stores, but none of them carry Litescribe or printable dual layer DVD's so my only option was to order them. I found these on Amazon and I have been very pleased. I burned 20 copies of our showcase without a hitch and all played as expected. I then designed a label and ran them through the printer. Again, no problems. I will be ordering these DVD's again. I will try to upload a picture because the write up does not quite make clear the printable area. Some printable DVD's have a large hub opening, these do not. The center hole is .60" and the center opening for the labeling is .88", so your labels will have a center hole about nickle size instead of a silver dollar.
