Another quality product from Butterfly. As with most of the brand’s products, they seem slightly overpriced compared to the competition (but they have to pay for their aggressive marketing and sponsorships somehow). Oh well, I’m a sucker for marketing so I buy a lot of stuff I don’t really need, including these and all the other varieties of Butterfly balls. Each one (A, G, S, R) is slightly different than the others, but describing exactly how is fairly challenging since my interpretation of the ball’s feel and bounce won’t necessarily gel with someone else’s. For the person who’s still in search of that perfect ball for them, this could be a contender. For the person just looking for a decent (but still good quality) ball to play, I’d look at something cheaper like the DHS 40+ 3-star (red package) that you can grab for basically half the cost. One of my favorite things about the Butterfly balls is the packaging. Shipping is notoriously hard on items, and these balls are safely secured in a rigid retail box to keep them in tip-top condition during their journey to you. The DHS balls I mentioned? Not so much - in fact, each time I’ve ordered those at least one of the balls arrived with damage.
