How long do the batteries last, years wise and how often do you have to charge it

I believe they recommend replacing the battery and pads every 2 years. I have had my unit for more than 5 years and the battery is still going strong. The battery is not rechargeable.

Are the battery rechargable or replaceable?

replace after use. recharging is not medically sufficient for such a unique one time use saving a life
